Conference League has helped Chelsea build ‘winning mentality’ - Maresca

Chelsea will hope to become the first team to win all three European competitions as they take on Real Betis in the UEFA Conference League final in Poland.
The Blues have won both the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League on two occasions and will look to complete the set on Wednesday with Europe's third-tier competition.
Enzo Maresca's side will be riding high after securing Champions League football next season thanks to their 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest on Sunday, which earned them a fourth-placed finish in the Premier League.
The triumph at the City Ground rounded off a strong finish to the domestic campaign, with The Blues winning five of their final six league games of the season.
They have been in similarly ruthless form in the Conference League this season, winning 11 of the 12 matches they have played in the competition.
However, Wednesday's final presents by far the toughest test yet for Maresca and his men, as they take on the Chelsea manager's "professional dad", Manuel Pellegrini, and his Betis side.
Despite taking on the sixth-best team in Spain, Maresca has said he is "especially happy" to face Betis, because of the reunion with Pellegrini, who he played under at Malaga and worked alongside at West Ham United.
The Spanish side have been inspired by the January loan signing of Antony from Manchester United, with the winger scoring nine goals since his arrival, including in each of Betis' semi-final legs against Fiorentina.

However, their form has slumped in La Liga ahead of Wednesday's final, failing to win any of their final four games of the campaign.

Maresca unhappy with Betis preparations

Maresca said last week he was "not happy" that Betis have been given two days of extra preparation for Wednesday's final.
La Liga accepted a request from the Spanish side to bring their final La Liga match against Valencia, originally scheduled for Sunday, forward to Friday.
Chelsea, meanwhile, concluded their Premier League campaign on Sunday afternoon, simultaneously with the rest of the division.
But Maresca said: "I'm not happy, 100%, you cannot allow another team 48 hours more when you play a European final.
"[Either we play Friday] or they play Sunday like us. I don't know if it is from La Liga, the Premier League or UEFA, but if you ask people in this room if it is normal to play a final where another team has 48 hours more to prepare, it is not normal."
