Sagas involving Alexander Isak and Yoane Wissa have dominated the summer transfer window, while Manchester United acted early to sign Matheus Cunha, Arsenal snapped up in-demand Viktor Gyokeres before beating rivals Tottenham Hotspur to the signature of Eberechi Eze.
There were other big deals as Premier League sides went on a huge splurge over the course of the summer.
With so many huge stories to keep across while sunning yourself this summer, you can be forgiven for missing some of the other moves that may have slipped under the radar.
Here are five of the big deals you might have missed.

Jamie Vardy - Unattached to Cremonese

Leicester City’s goodbye to the Premier League was made even more emotional at the end of last season as the club said farewell to arguably their greatest player.
Having fired them to the title against all odds in 2016, Vardy went on to rack up 200 goals in 500 appearances for The Foxes and his decision to leave pricked up the ears of clubs across the globe.
He was linked with Premier League clubs, European giants and MLS money spinners but has decided to take on another big challenge with Serie A new-boys Cremonese.

Angel Gomes - Unattached to Marseille

2024 proved to be a big year for Angel Gomes, whose impressive performance for Lille led to his first senior England call-ups from Lee Carsley.
He is yet to feature under Thomas Tuchel, but he will hope to impress the German when playing for his new club, Marseille - who will be in the UEFA Champions League.
Gomes announced at the end of last season that he would be leaving Lille upon the expiry of his contract and Roberto de Zerbi pounced to add him to his squad, which also includes former Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood.

Mateo Retegui - Atalanta to Al-Qadsiah

Mateo Retegui was lethal in Serie A last season and finished the campaign as the top scorer in Italy’s top flight - netting 25 goals for Atalanta.
The Italy international will not be defending his crown this season, though, after making a big-money move to the Saudi Pro League where he has joined Al-Qadsiah.
A fee of £56 million sees Retegui become the most expensive Italian player of all time - with the deal surpassing the £55m Newcastle paid to sign Sandro Tonali from AC Milan.

Evan Ferguson - Brighton to Roma (loan)

After a stellar start to his career, Evan Ferguson has made the move to Roma on a season-long loan from Brighton & Hove Albion in an attempt to fulfil the early promise he showed on the south coast.
Injury problems and inconsistent form have seen him drop down Fabian Hurzeler’s pecking order and he struggled during an underwhelming loan spell at West Ham United at the end of last season.
Ferguson broke into the Brighton first team in 2021, before getting himself a nomination for PFA Young Player of the Year the next season after scoring nine goals for the club and making his senior debut for the Republic of Ireland.

Pervis Estupinan - Brighton to AC Milan

Another outgoing from Brighton - this time on a permanent deal - saw Pervis Estupinan join AC Milan in a transfer worth £17m.
The Ecuadorian had been a mainstay in the Brighton team, with 104 appearances to his name since arriving at the club from Villarreal in 2022.
Brighton manager Hurzeler praised Estupinan’s "significant contribution", but conceded that "he wants a fresh challenge".
