WILLIAMS’ BARCELONA MOVE STALLS

According to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, Nico Williams’ move to Barcelona has stalled.
This is reportedly because the Athletic Club winger’s agent is seeking assurances that the Catalan giants can register the player.
The article reads: "The club's difficulties in the last transfer window in registering Dani Olmo and Pau Victor are looming over these negotiations, and Nico argues that he does not want to experience a similar episode, something his representative is making clear and wants to reflect in the contracts with great demands.
"Barca has given the Navarrese player every assurance that his fair play status will evolve well and that they will be able to register him, but as of today, that's not enough for the player.
"And this hasn't gone down well with the club, which believes the tone has incomprehensibly risen in this regard compared to the initial conversations, in which the player showed complete confidence in the club."

ENDRICK A TARGET FOR JUVENTUS

Italian outlet TuttoSport has claimed Brazilian forward Endrick is a target for Juventus.
The Italian giants are said to be keen on signing the striker, who made just 22 La Liga appearances and netted one league goal in his first season with Los Blancos.

"Endrick has also played less than expected", Tuttosport has claimed. "The Brazilian is waiting to understand his situation with Xabi Alonso after having suffered the choices of Carlo Ancelotti.
"Once he has an overview of the Spanish coach's intentions, he will make all the evaluations on potential offers and possibly similar projects.
"And the black and whites are there: they are interested, they are planning new contacts should there be room for a move."

REAL MADRID WANT SMIT

Spain’s AS has alleged that Real Madrid are interested in AZ Alkmaar midfielder Kees Smit.
The teenager, who was named player of the tournament at the U19 European Championship, made 20 Eredivisie appearances in his debut campaign last season.
Smit would allegedly be an alternative to "very expensive options", such as Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez, Manchester City’s Rodri and Liverpool’s Alexis Mac Allister.
The publication also stated that Smit, who is contracted until 2028, must "force his way out".

ROMA MAKE BRIGHTON’S O’RILEY NO. 1 TARGET

Italy’s Corriere della Sport has claimed that Roma are targeting a move for Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Matt O’Riley.
The publication claims: "[Sporting director Frederic] Massara will certainly be in a hurry to work on Matt O'Riley from tomorrow, the midfielder that [Roma manager Gian Piero] Gasperini likes so much and who would be an excellent addition to the department.
"The player opened up to negotiations with the Giallorossi a few days ago and is waiting to understand not only the salary proposal but also what the three-year project that Roma has just started will be and that will develop with Gasperini.
"Here, the coach is certainly a guarantee of work and seriousness, a confirmation of the club's desire to grow and develop targeted work to return to play in the Champions League and compete in European tournaments."
