Tuesday’s Paper Round leads on Manchester United’s interest in Liam Delap, the Ipswich Town striker who is also wanted by Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle United. Elsewhere, Kevin De Bruyne could soon be offered a deal by David Beckham’s Inter Miami, while Southampton are turning their attentions to appointing Sheffield Wednesday’s boss after Ivan Juric was sacked on Monday.

Manchester United face competition for the £40 million-rated Liam Delap this summer from three Premier League rivals, the Daily Mail reports, although a return to Manchester City does not look likely for the Ipswich Town striker.
With Ipswich set to join Southampton and Leicester City in going back down to the Championship, The Tractor Boys’ relegation will likely see Delap stay in the Premier League, and while he has interest from abroad, United have made the England youngster their No. 1 target and hope to fend off interest from Liverpool, Newcastle United and Chelsea.
The Mail adds: “City have a buyback option in the £20m deal that saw Delap leave the Etihad for Portman Road last summer which is also believed to be around £40m.
“However, it’s understood that City are unlikely to re-sign him, and Delap wants regular first-team football which he would struggle to get with Erling Haaland well established as first-choice.
“City also inserted a 20% sell-on clause as part of Delap’s move to Ipswich so United would have to pay their neighbours around £8m if they sign him.
“United’s technical director Jason Wilcox knows Delap from their time together at City, although they still face fierce competition for the England Under-21 striker.”

Inter Miami in for De Bruyne
David Beckham’s Inter Miami are keen to sign Kevin De Bruyne when he departs Manchester City this summer, the Mirror reports. The MLS club plan to intensify their efforts to bring the midfielder to the United States following his announcement he will leave City after a trophy-laden decade at the club.
With his contract expiring at the end of the season, De Bruyne becomes a free agent in the summer and confirmed last Friday that this will be his final campaign with City.
The Mirror adds: “Inter Miami have been keeping close tabs on De Bruyne's situation and it is understood Beckham and his fellow club bosses are ready to offer the 33-year-old a deal.
“Landing a player of De Bruyne’s status would be a huge coup for Inter Miami and the MLS in general, but Beckham's team face strong competition from the Saudi Pro League.
“De Bruyne considered leaving City last summer, following strong interest from a number of clubs in Saudi Arabia, but chose to stay put and see out the final year of his deal.”
Saints eye Wednesday’s Rohl
Danny Rohl has emerged as Southampton’s top target to take over as manager following their relegation from the Premier League, the Telegraph reports. The Sheffield Wednesday boss is at the forefront of the club’s search for a permanent replacement for Ivan Juric, who was sacked after their drop to the Championship was confirmed.
In the meantime, Southampton have placed Simon Rusk and Adam Lallana in charge until the end of the season as they conduct a thorough recruitment process.
The Telegraph adds: “Johannes Spors, Southampton’s new technical director, who previously worked with Röhl at RB Leipzig, is leading the hunt for Juric’s successor after Southampton activated the clause in the Croatian’s contract to let him go once relegation was confirmed following Sunday’s loss away to Tottenham Hotspur.
“Lallana, 36, and still a player at Southampton, is considering making a move into management and coaching and will work with Rusk for the final seven games of the season.
“Alongside Rohl, Liam Rosenior has also won admiring glances from Southampton. Rosenior has guided Strasbourg, owned by Chelsea’s BlueCo, to fourth place in Ligue 1 and potential Champions League qualification.
“BlueCo is aware that Rosenior is attracting interest from England but hopes that he will choose to stay at Strasbourg and potentially compete in Europe next season. Rosenior also has experience of managing in the Championship, having taken Hull City to seventh spot and the brink of the play-offs before being sacked.”
