Jack Grealish could be available for £40m this summer as Manchester City look to offload the winger.
The Sun reports Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Napoli are all monitoring the player after the Manchester Evening News revealed City’s potential asking price, £60m lower than what they paid for Grealish four years ago.
Pep Guardiola left Grealish out of his Club World Cup squad this summer and several clubs are said to be interested.
The Sun adds: “A return to his beloved Aston Villa could also be on the cards for Grealish.
“SunSport reported that Grealish's £300,000-a-week wages complicate a move.
“With a contract at Man City until 2027, the 39-cap ace is ready to play the waiting game for as long as possible.”
Mbeumo’s Man Utd move stalls
Manchester United’s move for Bryan Mbeumo has stalled with one source telling The i Paper a deal “is not imminent” as Brentford hold out for what they believe is a fair price for the forward.
Mbeumo had informed Newcastle and Tottenham he wanted to move to Man Utd, but after a second offer of £55m with £7.5m of add-ons was rejected over a week ago, no third bid has arrived.
The i Paper adds: “While the initial feeling was that Brentford wanted Manchester United to match the £62.5m they spent on Matheus Cunha, they actually want more for a player who scored 20 goals and collected seven assists last season.
“Mbeumo has only a year left on his existing contract but Brentford have an option to trigger another 12 months.
“Whether Manchester United believe they can wait a year and get him for less is unclear but there is no appetite to cash in on the player and Mbeumo will stay a part of Keith Andrews’ squad unless their valuation is met.”
Man Utd set Onana asking price
Manchester United will demand £30m for Andre Onana but the Cameroon goalkeeper is increasingly likely to stay at Old Trafford beyond the summer, the Daily Mail reports.
AS Monaco have been quoted the figure after contacting United in late June, but sources told the Mail the Ligue 1 club are unlikely to pay that amount.
The Mail adds: “Saudi Premier League newcomers SC Neom had also been following Onana in the background for some time before signing Poland international Marcin Bulka from Nice in recent days.
“Onana is keen to stay and club sources say the probability is that he will remain as United’s No. 1 after returning to training at Carrington.
“United boss Ruben Amorim and goalkeeper coach Jorge Vital are said to be happy with the former Ajax player despite speculation over a move for Aston Villa’s Emi Martinez.”
Palace in Diomande talks
Crystal Palace are in talks with Sporting CP over a move for Ivory Coast defender Ousmane Diomande.
The FA Cup winners could pay £45m for the centre-back, but that transfer may hinge on a major outgoing.
The Guardian adds: “That could depend on the future of Marc Guehi, with Liverpool believed to be the frontrunners to sign the England defender, whose contract expires next summer.
“Crystal Palace have also agreed a deal to sign Borna Sosa from Ajax for about £3m, with the Croatia defender due to have his medical on Monday.”
