Borussia Dortmund have captured the signature of Jobe Bellingham, five years after signing his older brother Jude. Jobe won the Championship Young Player of the Season award as Sunderland won the Championship play-off, securing their return to the Premier League for the first time since 2017. Jobe will follow in the footsteps of his brother and is set to feature in this summer's Club World Cup.

Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham.
The 19-year-old joins on a five-year deal after helping Sunderland return to the Premier League and being named Championship Young Player of the Season.
In joining the German club, he follows in the footsteps of his brother Jude, who joined Dortmund in 2020 from Birmingham.
Dortmund have reportedly paid an inital fee of €32million (£26.9m) to bring him to Signal Iduna Park.
An extra €5m (£4.2m) in add-ons is to be paid to Sunderland over the course of his five-year deal in Germany.
"I’m very happy to be a Borussia Dortmund player now and to fight for titles together with this great club," Bellingham told the club's official website.
"I want to play my part in celebrating success with these great fans here and will work on myself and with the team every day."

With Chelsea reportedly looking to sign English forward Jamie Gittens from Dortmund before they jet off for the summer tournament, it was interesting to note that Bellingham mentioned "looking forward to playing" with his compatriot on the day of his signing.
"Well, I've met the whole squad today, so I've caught up with some players who I knew from before," said Bellingham in his first interview to his new club.
"Obviously, some of the English boys I know them: Carney [Chukwuemeka] and Jamie [Gittens], but also Giovanni [Reyna] as well. He's a good friend, a good family friend.
"So yeah, they all seem lovely. And I've spoke to them, I've had a laugh with them already, so I'm looking forward to playing with them."

Bellingham himself is now set to feature for Dortmund in the revamped tournament in the United States.
Currently with the England Under-21 squad, Bellingham would be allowed to leave the international setup and play for his new club this summer, as confirmed by U21 boss Lee Carsley.
Bellingham has made four appearances for the U21 side and is part of the squad for the European Under-21 Championship, which starts in Slovakia on Wednesday.
"I’m very happy that I’ll be wearing the black and yellow jersey at the FIFA Club World Cup," Bellingham added.
A 15% sell-on clause is understood to have been negotiated in the deal, which could net Sunderland a sizable amount if Dortmund sell Bellingham for a profit in the future like they did Jude.

Older brother Jude signed for Dortmund in 2020 and made 132 appearances, playing alongside Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho and winning the German Cup in 2021.
After missing out on the Bundesliga title in 2023 he joined Real Madrid, winning La Liga and the Champions League in his debut season.
Like Jobe, Jude also won the Championship's Young Player of the Year, five years prior to his younger brother.
Dortmund's pursuit of the younger Bellingham brother would have been buoyed by their strong end to the season.
With eight games left in the Bundesliga they were in 11th, but won seven of their remaining matches and picked up a draw at Bayern Munich to finish fourth and secure UEFA Champions League football.
Bellingham's Sunderland tribute
Having joined Sunderland from Birmingham in the summer of 2023 when he was just 17, Bellingham posted a heartfelt farewell message to the club shortly after his departure was confirmed.
"It’s time for me to say farewell to all the loyal people of Sunderland, who have powered me through two incredible years in Red & White," he wrote on Instagram.
"Your support, on so many occasions, has completely blown me away, especially in the times of adversity which we pulled through together. You welcomed me with open arms as a kid leaving home for the first time, and I am proud that our relationship has grown to be so strong ever since.
"I will always represent Wearside in all that I strive to achieve for the rest of my career, wherever that may be.
"I hope that I have made you proud along the way, and in return you have made me the player that has reached the heights I find myself at today. So thank you.
"I will love and remember you fondly for the rest of my life, from the bottom of my heart.
"I tried to embody the passion you have for the city on the football pitch and I’m so incredibly delighted that our journey came to an end with a victory at Wembley to restore the club in its rightful place.
"To the staff, players and most importantly the supporters thank you so much & good luck for the future."
