Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce have offered £15 million for Manchester United's Jadon Sancho. Fener boss Mourinho wants Sancho
Fenerbahce are willing to meet Jadon Sancho’s salary demands of £10 million a year as Jose Mourinho looks to land the Manchester United winger.
The Turkish side have bid £15 million for the forward who was recently sent back by Chelsea along with £5m.
The Sun writes: "Jose Mourinho is closing in on taking Manchester United flop Jadon Sancho to Turkey.
"Fenerbahce boss Mourinho has offered United £15m to end the winger’s miserable spell at Old Trafford.
"And the Istanbul side are prepared to meet Sancho’s demands for £10m a season in wages.
"Sancho, 25, returned to United last month when Chelsea paid a £5m penalty clause at the end of his loan agreement rather than splashing out £25m to make the deal permanent."
Manchester United chase Jashari
Manchester United are reportedly vying for the signature of Club Brugge midfielder Ardon Jashari.
They will need to compete with AC Milan, who are currently short of the £34 million valuation placed on the player by the Belgian side.
The Mirror reports: "Manchester United have held talks with the representatives of Club Brugge midfielder Ardon Jashari.
"AC Milan are currently leading the race for the highly-coveted 22-year-old after submitting an opening £25.6million offer.
"Milan's bid is worth a base fee in the region of £21.3m plus around £4.3m in add-ons but Club Brugge are requesting a £34m package (€40m) in order to agree to a sale.
"Manchester City had also considered a swoop for the Belgian Jupiler Pro League Player of the Year prior to finalising the arrival of Tijjani Reijnders from Milan for £46.3m.
"United have too, expressed interest in recent weeks but so far, Jashari is yet to have warmed to a move to Old Trafford having also politely rejected advances from both Fulham and West Ham."
Barca to wait to sign Williams
Barcelona will wait until the new financial year in Spain to make a move for Athletic Club forward Nico Williams.
Williams has a release clause of around £50 million, and Barca will have to pay that in one chunk to activate the option.
The Athletic explains: "Nico Williams has informed Athletic Club that he intends to leave the club for Barcelona.
"The Athletic reported last week that the Catalan club had reached a verbal agreement with Williams over personal terms, and did not view the forward’s €60million (£50m, $62m) release clause as an obstacle to a deal.
"Barca do not plan to pay the clause until after June 30, ensuring the deal is registered in Spain’s next financial year."
Newcastle want £200m for Isak
A Daily Mail Q&A session on their website revealed that Newcastle have named a £200 million price for striker Alexander Isak.
That is likely a no-go for Liverpool, but Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitike looks the candidate most likely to step in as their next striker.
The Mail claims: "It is not one to completely rule out just yet but there is a strong feeling in the industry that the next month of the window will be more about balancing the books with sales. Without them, there is no chance they could afford a mega-money striker.
"Newcastle are quoting £200million as a fee and, to be honest, that is far too much for a 25-year-old. But the fact they are talking money must mean they are slightly worried… and his long-term future in terms of a new contract remains uncertain at St James’ Park.
"Ekitike is certainly one they like but nothing is advanced for the Eintracht Frankfurt forward at the moment. The likes of Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres are on the move but I don’t think either fit the bill for Liverpool right now."
