Turkey clubs turn down Chilwell
Ben Chilwell has been linked with a move to Turkey but it looks like the Chelsea full-back will be staying in England for now.
The Mirror reports that The Blues had offered Chilwell to Turkey's "top clubs" but so far a deal has yet to be struck.
"The Blues are attempting to find a solution for the 27-year-old defender after he was frozen out of the first-team picture by Enzo Maresca last month," the article continues.
"However, Premier League interest was few and far between and now the Turkish market represents Chelsea's only chance of shifting Chilwell's £200,000-a-week wages from their books as their transfer window does not close until September 13.
"However, despite floating Chilwell to the likes of Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Istanbul Basaksehir, none of those clubs have shown any appetite to explore a deal. It remains to be seen whether the picture changes before the impending deadline.
"Chelsea were looking for permanent buyers in the final stretch of the summer window but they are also open to loaning Chilwell, who at this stage looks to remain in the cold, as it could help them save some cash.
"Brentford are believed to have made a late enquiry for the England international but the Bees never followed up their interest."
Antony could join up with Mourinho
Jose Mourinho could offer Antony an escape route out of Manchester United, it has been claimed.
The former United, Chelsea and Tottenham boss is now managing Fenerbahce and has been linked with a move for the Brazilian winger, who signed for The Red Devils for a reported £85.5 million in 2022.
Having played just one minute of action so far this season, Antony could depart Manchester before September 13 when the Turkish Super Lig transfer window closes.
“According to Sport Witness, Mourinho's Fenerbahce are eyeing up a loan move for Antony,” states The Sun.
“They hope to have a deal finalised by Wednesday evening as they look to make the South American forward their latest signing.
“Mourinho, who joined Fenerbahce in the summer, has already brought in the likes of Youssef En-Nesyri, Caglar Soyuncu and Allan Saint-Maximin.”
Flamengo make Martial contact
Brazilian giants Flamengo are interested in securing the services of free agent and former Manchester United forward Anthony Martial.
The Frenchman is without a club after leaving United in the summer and has been linked with several clubs.
However, it appears Flamengo are leading the charge to land his signature.
"Reports suggest Flamengo have contacted the forward over an agreement after their star forward, Pedro, picked up an ACL injury this week in training with Brazil," writes the Mail.
"Martial is said to be considering a number of options for his future, but appears to be in no rush to make a decision."
