Arsenal face battle for Santos
Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are both keen on Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos, currently on loan at Strasbourg.
The 21-year-old Brazilian could fetch as much as £50 million, according to a report in the Mirror.
The paper writes: "Chelsea could demand as much as £50 million for their in-demand midfielder, Andrey Santos, this summer in the wake of interest from a host of clubs across Europe, including Arsenal.
"Santos, 21, has yet to make a senior appearance for The Blues but has made a significant impression on loan with the Londoners' sister club, Strasbourg this season.
"And after notching 10 goals across 32 Ligue 1 appearances this term, Chelsea should be presented with ample opportunity to turn a quick profit on the Brazilian if they wish to do so.
"Interest from Arsenal in Santos emerged this month and it's said that Paris Saint-Germain are also pursuing the youngster in case he comes onto the market this summer."
Wirtz to decide his future
The Daily Mail believes that Florian Wirtz is yet to decide where his future lies as he considers a move away from Bayer Leverkusen.
Both Liverpool and Bayern Munich are credited with an interest, and the Daily Mail examines his situation.
The paper reports: "It is no secret that Liverpool like the German superstar and will present a very tempting case to sign him.
"And there is equally no hiding the fact that Bundesliga champions Bayern are still just about leading the race to get him.
"But the noises from Bavaria are non-stop, with hourly updates about Wirtz’s future… all of them mentioning how keen Liverpool are.
"One way of looking at it is that Vincent Kompany’s men are cranking up the volume on Liverpool’s interest to make it look like they pulled off a mighty coup if they eventually sign Wirtz. The other is that they are genuinely worried he might choose the Premier League champions.
"The truth is probably somewhere in the middle: Wirtz is on holiday this week and has a big decision to make while on his sun lounger — does he taint his Bayer Leverkusen legacy by going to Bayern and strengthening their monopoly on the Bundesliga? Or does he test himself in England?
"His mind is not made up yet but Liverpool will make a good push to sign him – and that is all there is to say at this stage."
Carmona poised for PSG switch
Olga Carmona has announced that she will leave Real Madrid when her contract ends this summer, and speculation is intensifying over her future.
The Athletic believes that she is on the verge of agreeing a move to French giants Paris Saint-Germain.
The website states: "Spain World Cup-winner Olga Carmona is set to join Paris Saint-Germain following her exit from Real Madrid.
"Madrid announced on Tuesday that Carmona, the club captain, had decided to leave ahead of the expiration of her contract this summer.
"The 24-year-old defender joined the club from Sevilla in 2020, shortly after the formation of Madrid’s women’s team. She has made 186 appearances for Madrid, scoring 29 goals, making her the women’s side’s all-time top appearance maker."
De Bruyne chased by Napoli
Napoli and Major League Soccer sides are in the running to sign Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne this summer.
The 33-year-old Belgian has decided that he will not join another Premier League side in his next move.
The Telegraph claims: "Kevin De Bruyne has ruled out joining a Premier League rival following his Manchester City departure – and will sign for a foreign club next season.
"The 33-year-old waved farewell to City fans on Tuesday during an emotional final Etihad Stadium appearance, with his next destination understood to be away from England.
"De Bruyne has been open-minded about his next club after it was confirmed he would leave City after 10 years, but he is now poised to leave the country which has been his home for the last decade.
"Napoli, in Italy, have been linked with De Bruyne, while there is also interest from American clubs to take him to Major League Soccer (MLS). But he is free to speak to any clubs about a contract for the 2024/25 season."
