Chelsea 'desperate' to land Olise

Chelsea have contacted Crystal Palace as they step up their interest in Michael Olise, according to the Mirror.
The outlet claims The Blues are “desperate” to win the battle to sign the Eagles forward, who is also wanted by Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool.
Olise could cost up to £70 million, it has been claimed, and The Blues are undeterred by speculation Olise would prefer a move to a team in next season’s UEFA Champions League.
“Chelsea have already made the first move in the battle for £60 million Michael Olise,” states the article.
“Despite investing heavily in the right-sided position, The Blues have earmarked the berth for Crystal Palace's versatile 22-year-old in Enzo Maresca’s team for next season.
“Chelsea are desperate to beat both Manchester clubs, Arsenal and Liverpool to land Olise and have made contact with Crystal Palace this week.
“Palace - who accept he wants to play in the Champions League - will only listen to offers between £60m-£70m to land the man who scored 10 times from just 14 league starts, assisting six times over the past season.
“City, Liverpool and Arsenal have the edge on Chelsea as London-born Olise wants to play in the Champions League. But that will not deter The Blues who remain hugely impressed by his dataset and his consistent high level of performance.”

Brentford 'reduced their asking price' for Toney

Brentford have “reduced their asking price” for Ivan Toney, it has been claimed, as their star striker enters the final 12 months of his contract.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are all said to be interested in the England international, who could now be available for ÂŁ60m.
“Despite a lacklustre goalscoring return at the end of last season following his return from an eight-month gambling ban, Toney remains high in demand after scoring 32 goals in his first two seasons in the Premier League,” states the Metro.
“And following Benjamin Sesko’s decision to extend his contract at RB Leipzig and turn down a move to the Premier League, interest in the Brentford striker is only expected to mount.
“Thomas Frank’s side previously valued the striker at £80m but are now set to lower their asking price for the 28-year-old to ensure they cash in this summer.
“The new fee, however, still represents a significant outlay, with talkSPORT reporting that £60m will be required to convince Brentford to sell.”

Abraham could make PL return

Tammy Abraham is wanted by several Premier League clubs, claims a report in The Telegraph.
The 26-year-old has recently returned to fitness after missing 10 months with a knee injury and the report claims Roma are now “braced for bids”.
It has been reported that Abraham could be available for around ÂŁ20m.
“Tammy Abraham could be offered a route back to the Premier League this summer, with a number of clubs keeping an eye on the striker’s situation,” the outlet notes.
“West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are all in the market for strikers this summer, and are all aware Abraham could be attainable.”

Sporting demand ÂŁ85m for Gyokeres

Arsenal could be priced out of a move for Sporting Lison striker Viktor Gyokeres.
That’s according to a report in The Sun, which claims the Portuguese side are demanding Arsenal meet their £85m release clause if they are to acquire his services.
“Sporting Lisbon will remain firm on their valuation of Arsenal target Viktor Gyokeres - with the intention of selling other first-team stars this summer instead,” writes the outlet.
“The Gunners have scouted Swedish striker Gyokeres several times in the past 12 months in their search for more firepower up top.
“The 26-year-old - who netted 43 goals in 50 outings for Sporting in all competitions last season - has a release clause of around £85m.
“Arsenal would want to negotiate a fee in the region of £50m-£60m, but the Portuguese giants - as things stand - are unwilling to let him leave on the cheap.
“SunSport understands that Sporting are prepared to raise funds through the sale of other players in their ranks, including defenders Ousmane Diomande and Goncalo Inacio.”
