Liverpool receive boost in Olise pursuit
Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has confirmed that Michael Olise has no release clause in his contract.
The winger registered 12 goals and a league-best 15 assists in his first campaign in Bavaria last season, after joining from Crystal Palace courtesy of a €60 million (£52.17m) release clause.
And Eberl has confirmed the France international has no such clause inserted in his Bayern contract.
In an interview with German magazine 11Freunde via Bundesliga, Eberl said: "What is missing in this discussion is that we signed Michael Olise, who has a contract with us until 2029 - without a release clause - and is on his way to becoming one of the best players on the planet."
Eberl’s comments were made amid Mundo Deportivo’s claim that Liverpool are considering Olise as Mohamed Salah’s long-term successor.

Barcelona interested in Munoz
Crystal Palace full-back Daniel Munoz has garnered the interest of La Liga giants Barcelona, Fichajes has claimed.
The Colombia international has scored eight goals and notched 13 assists as a right wing-back since joining The Eagles for a bargain £6.8m in January 2024.
And such form is thought to have attracted the attention of Barcelona.
The Fichajes report reads: "Barcelona are aiming to strengthen the right side of the defence and see Munoz as a very attractive option to fill that position. His versatility and Premier League experience are key factors.
"However, Barcelona will have to take into account the resilience of Crystal Palace, which has a contractual advantage and is not obliged to sell. The figure of €30m (£26m) remains a reference to start any talks."

Ter Stegen to leave Barcelona with Man Utd keen
Spanish publication Sport claims Marc-Andre ter Stegen is set to leave Barcelona, amid interest from the Premier League’s Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
The shot-stopper has not featured this season due to a back injury, but amid Barcelona’s summer signing of Joan Garcia, Sport claims, while citing "reports in Germany", that Ter Stegen could look to move in January.
The report adds: "Naturally, [...] several clubs [have] enquired about Ter Stegen's situation: his physical condition, his sporting ambitions, and the financial cost of a possible January departure.
"SPORT has already reported that clubs such as Newcastle, Tottenham, Manchester United, and Monaco are keeping an eye on the German goalkeeper."

Alonso addresses Endrick playing time
Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso publicly addressed Endrick’s lack of game-time, insisting that the Brazilian wonderkid must be patient and wait for his chance with the Spanish giants.
Endrick has not yet featured under Alonso this season, sparking suggestions he could leave on loan in January.
"It's clear everyone wants to play. And a young player even more so," Alonso told TNT Sports Brazil.
"Given the context, we want to compete right now, and it's difficult depending on the match.
"He has to be patient, be prepared, and know that he's at Real Madrid. His time will come."
