Liverpool: Slot 'not sure' on Jota availability
Arne Slot has given an update on the fitness of Diogo Jota, who felt a "niggle" in Tuesday's 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest.
The Portugal winger could struggle to feature in Saturday's game away to Brentford, according to the Liverpool boss, after not training on Thursday.
"There is no doubt about the fact Jota is an important player for us, but he wasn't on the training ground yesterday so that means we have to see today where he is," Slot told a pre-match press conference.
"So, it is not sure he will be available for tomorrow. We have to wait and see today.
"He felt a little bit when he came in [at Forest], a little niggle during the half-hour he came in. He could finish the game, but afterwards he complained a bit about it and that's why he didn't train yesterday.
"We have to wait and see if he is available today and then, of course, tomorrow."

Luis Diaz also missed Thursday's training session, but he is expected to recover in time as he was only suffering from a sore throat.
"I assume he is [fine]. Yesterday he was not allowed [to train] because he had a bit of a sore throat, but I assume he will be training with us today," Slot added.
"I still have to hear this, but we are expecting him to train with us today."
Man City: Haaland in doubt for Ipswich
On the day that Erling Haaland penned a remarkable new 10-year contract with Manchester City, the Norwegian's fitness was put in doubt by Pep Guardiola.
Speaking ahead of Sunday's trip to Ipswich in the Premier League, Guardiola said he will "have to see" if Haaland is fit enough to play.
The striker has scored 16 goals in 21 Premier League appearances this season and is yet to miss a league game.

Newcastle: Schar 'not 100%'
Newcastle face Bournemouth at St. James' Park on Saturday, live on TNT Sports and discovery+, in a battle between two of the league's form sides.
However, Eddie Howe revealed on Friday that centre-back Fabian Schar might not be available for the game.
"We'll make a decision today. He trained yesterday, but he wasn't 100% himself," Howe said.
"It was a nasty cough, nasty illness so we'll see how he's recovered. Other than that, it is pretty much the same squad."

Howe also addressed the fitness of goalkeeper Nick Pope as he recovers from a knee injury.
"I think tomorrow might be a little bit too early. Certainly, he is going to be close for next week," Howe said.
"He has not trained with us yet but he is certainly building up to that. That's where he is at. Mentally he is getting ready to play."
Tottenham: Werner out but Richarlison returns
Timo Werner picked up a hamstring injury during Tottenham's 3-0 FA Cup win at Tamworth.
The Germany international was ruled out of Wednesday's North London derby, and joins a bulging injury list.
Guglielmo Vicario, Micky van de Ven, Destiny Udogie, Ben Davies, Cristian Romero, Rodrigo Bentancur and Wilson Odobert are also sidelined for Spurs.

But there was some good news on the injury front as Richarlison returned from a lengthy lay-off.
The Brazilian was back in the Spurs squad for the 2-1 defeat to Arsenal, coming off the bench in the 78th minute.
It was his first appearance since suffering a hamstring injury in November.
Arsenal: Jesus out with ACL injury
Arsenal's players showed their support to Gabriel Jesus ahead of the North London derby on Wednesday after the striker suffered a season-ending injury.
Jesus will miss the remainder of the campaign as he requires surgery on an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.
The Gunners players walked out at the Emirates wearing shirts that featured Jesus' name and number and the message 'stay strong Gabby' ahead of their victory.
"We will continue to keep everyone updated with Gabby’s recovery, with everyone at the club fully focused on supporting Gabby to ensure he is back to full fitness as soon as possible," read a club statement.

The news comes as a major blow to Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, who is already without star winger Bukayo Saka.
Ethan Nwaneri (muscular), Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee), Ben White (knee) and Riccardo Calafiori (muscular) are also out.
Palmer a doubt for Monday match versus Wolves
Enzo Maresca has revealed that Cole Palmer is a doubt for Chelsea's clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday night.
The England international picked up an ankle injury during the west London side's 2-2 draw with Bournemouth on Tuesday evening.
Levi Colwill, Enzo Fernandez and Romeo Lavia could also miss the fixture after picking up knocks in the week.
Maresca revealed that the quartet did not train on Friday and could be absent for the fixture at Stamford Bridge.
"Cole, Levi, Enzo and Romeo were not in the session today, so those four players are doubts for Monday’s game because they picked up problems in the last game," said Maresca.
"Cole was the ankle. In the first half, [the opponents] kicked him.
"He didn’t train today and we don’t know if he’s going to train tomorrow or in two days. The same situation is for Enzo, Romeo and Levi."
Everton: Broja could leave after ankle injury
Armando Broja was stretchered off during Everton's 2-0 FA Cup third-round defeat to Peterborough, and it was subsequently confirmed that he suffered ankle ligament damage.
The Albania international is on loan at Everton from Chelsea this season, but manager David Moyes said that his time at Goodison Park could be up after the injury blow.
"We think he's going to be out for somewhere between 10 and 12 weeks. It is [an] ankle ligament [injury]," Moyes said.
"It means that there's a possibility – it's not done yet – but I'm just saying there's a reasonable possibility that he would have to go back to Chelsea, because it might use up a loan spot."

Broja's absence comes as a blow to Moyes, who returned to his former club to succeed Sean Dyche this week and suffered a 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa in his first game back.
The striker joins an injury list that already includes Seamus Coleman (muscular), James Garner (back), Tim Iroegbunam (foot), Youssef Chermiti (thigh) and Dwight McNeil (knee).
