The return of David Moyes as Toffees manager has led to a dramatic upturn in fortunes.

The Blues have clocked up 15 points in just eight Premier League games under the Scot, a little under half their total points haul this season - in just under a third of the games.

Jordan Pickford opened up about his first conversations with new England boss Thomas Tuchel ahead of the upcoming international break. 

Tuchel is set to name his first England squad on Friday, March 14 for the World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Latvia at Wembley later this month.

Speaking exclusively to TNT Sports expert and former England goalkeeper Joe Hart, Pickford said on the German: "I know he’s been to a few games. He’ll text you if he’s coming to a game to say ‘good luck’. I had a FaceTime with him at the end of January after he started his full-time role.

"He seems like a great guy and [England captain] Harry Kane speaks very highly of him. He’s a winner and hopefully we can move forward."

Abdoulaye Doucoure is back in the Everton line-up after missing the last outing at Brentford following the birth of his son.

Doucoure is the one change to that side with Carlos Alcaraz dropping to the bench.

The home side’s talisman and top scorer, Matheus Cunha serves the first match of a three-game suspension following his FA Cup red card last week.

Goalkeeper Sa is restored to the team with Doherty, Agbadou, Andre and Munetsi also getting the nod.
