MANCHESTER UNITED LOSE AT HOME AGAIN
Manchester United's horror Premier League campaign continued after a 1-0 defeat at home to Wolves, which sees the Midlands club clinch survival.
Ruben Amorim, who made five changes to the side that dramatically beat Lyon 5-4, including giving a debut to 20-year-old Tyler Fredricson, saw his side have the better of a drab first half.
Christian Eriksen's free-kick from distance was tipped over by Dan Bentley, a late replacement for Jose Sa, who felt ill in the warm-up, and Kobbie Mainoo curled a shot narrowly wide.
Wolves, who welcomed back Mateus Cunha from suspension, had their best chance via Jorgen Strand Larsen, whose header was blocked.
Amorim brought on Bruno Fernandes, Mason Mount and Diogo Dalot on the hour mark to try and create a spark.
And the United skipper nearly helped create the opener with Alejandro Garnacho eventually putting in a low cross for Rasmus Hojlund, but he was too slow to get there and failed to connect.
Vitor Pereira's side made the hosts pay by grabbing the winner 13 minutes from time through substitute Pablo Sarabia, who curled a free-kick from around 25 yards out over the wall and beyond Andre Onana.
Mount and Fernandes both spurned late opportunities to equalise as Wolves held on for a vital win.

WOLVES SURVIVE
A big win for Wolves who have guaranteed their survival for next season after Ipswich Town lost 4-0 at home to Arsenal.
They were under the cosh for most of the game but United just failed to convert a string of good opportunities.
Ruben Amorim made five changes from the side that beat Lyon on Thursday.
But the scrutiny that Rasmund Hojlund has faced will be more intense after more chances spurned, failing to improve on his tally of one goal in his last 27 games.
Mason Mount, another big money signing who has failed to deliver, also missed a big chance as did the skipper Bruno Fernandes when he came on.
The result leaves United in 14th place and four games without a win in the Premier League.

WHAT A GOAL THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN!
Eriksen with the outside of his foot pings it to Mount whose volley fails to hit the target under pressure from
Doherty.
The creativity has been evident today. Mount, Bruno, Hojlund have all missed gilt-edged chances in this second half. Its the usual story with United, a lack of composure in front of goal.
