ARSENAL DELAY LIVERPOOL TITLE PARTY WITH ONE-SIDED VICTORY
Arsenal outclassed relegation-haunted Ipswich Town 4-0 at Portman Road to delay champions-elect Liverpool's Premier League title party for at least another week.
Buoyed by their glorious 2-1 win at Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals in midweek, Mikel Arteta's side picked up from where they left off by putting on their sparkling Sunday best.
Leandro Trossard found the opener after some fine build-up work involving Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard on 14 minutes before Gabriel Martinelli converted his 50th goal for the Gunners on 28 minutes after Mikel Merino had backheeled Saka's cross into his path.
A tough assignment for Ipswich became impossible when Leif Davis was sent off on 32 minutes for a raking late challenge on Saka.
The gulf between the sides was given a truer reflection with Trossard (69') and substitute Ethan Nwaneri (88') adding further goals with Ipswich, who are 15 points behind West Ham with five games remaining, camped inside their own box for most of the second period.
Arsenal closed the gap to 10 points at the summit before Liverpool visited Leicester later on Sunday.
It means Arne Slot's side will have to wait until their meeting with Tottenham at Anfield next Sunday before they can officially become champions.

LEANDRO TROSSARD: WE HAVE TO KEEP BELIEVING
"I think it was a great game overall. We had a lot of chances, and in the end scored four. So well done to everyone," said the Belgium forward on Sky Sports after scoring a double in the 4-0 Premier League win at Ipswich.
"It is important for ourselves. We don't need to look at them [Liverpool], we just have to keep going like this and take it game by game.
"We want to win every game, but we know how tough it is in the league. A good win today, and we just need to keep pushing forward.
"It is nice to be on the scoresheet again and helping the team to get a win.
"We are there for a reason, we have been doing very well in the Champions League.
"We have to keep believing."

IT IS ALL OVER AT PORTMAN ROAD!
Oleksandr Zinchenko lifts the ball over, but it all ends in a 4-0 victory for the Gunners. As one-sided as it gets. Ipswich battled hard with 10 men, but were outclassed on the day.

IPSWICH LIVING OFF SCRAPS AT HOME
Had been hard enough with 11 men, but the extra man has been a brutal task for the home side, who have had only five touches today inside the Gunners box. Done well to hang in there in this second half.

STERLING TRYING TO GET IN ON THE ACT
But he is offside after setting off too quickly. Wolves are leading 1-0 at Man Utd. Which means Ipswich can only catch West Ham, who will be 15 points ahead with five games remaining. Plus the Hammers boast a better goal difference. Only a matter of time.

'WE'RE GOING TO GERMANY'
Is the cry from the Arsenal fans as they bid to reach the UEFA Champions League final next month. First up is that trip to France to take on PSG in the last four. That looks like it will be an epic battle on current form.

THE CHANGES ARE MADE BY MIKEL ARTETA

GAME, SET AND MATCH FOR GUNNERS
A 3-0 lead for Arsenal is probably a fairer reflection of how this match has played out today. But it is not yet done. Looks like Arsenal are going to make further changes.

GOAL! IPSWICH 0-3 ARSENAL (TROSSARD)

MARTINELLI TRIES HIS LUCK
Ball deflects wide as he goes for goal as Arsenal are awarded a corner-kick. Trossard cutting inside before he sees his shot blocked by Morsy for another corner. Greaves then charges down the Martinelli finish.

DAVID RAYA WELL OUT OF HIS GOAL
Almost at the halfway line to feed the ball to his teammates. Probably to keep himself warm. Apart from the Hirst shot which flew wide, little of note to do this afternoon in the visiting goal. Game has dropped down a few gears. No question.

Odegaard asking the question with a decent effort from distance, but Palmer gets down well to make the stop.

SAKA GETTING SOME ICE ON HIS INJURY
Don't think it is anything too serious in the technical area, but the studs of Davis definitely made contact with a raking challenge and studs up prompting the red card by referee Chris Kavanagh.
