Zirkzee has signed a five-year contract with the option of a 12-month extension.
"Having had discussions with the manager and the leaders of the club I know how exciting the future is going to be here and I cannot wait to play my part in achieving success for Manchester United," Zirkzee told the club's official website.

Zirkzee has two international caps to his name, making his Netherlands debut in the Euro 2024 quarter-final win over Turkey before also coming off the bench in the 2-1 defeat to England in the semi-finals.
He spent time in several youth systems before breaking into the first team with German giants Bayern Munich in December 2019.
His most successful season in front of goal came in the form of a 16-strike haul while on a season-long loan at Belgian side Anderlecht during the 2021–22 campaign - after which he made the move to Bologna.
The forward won the Best Young Player prize at last season's Serie A awards, attracting the attention of some of Europe's biggest clubs.
He finished last season as Bologna's top scorer and helped the club to a fifth-placed finish in Serie A.
