Fulham lost Joao Palhinha to Bayern Munich earlier this summer and have moved to replace him with Norway international Sander Berge, who arrives from Burnley. Despite being part of Vincent Kompany's relegated team last season, Berge managed to drop out of the Premier League with many admirers. He now returns to the top flight as Fulham's fourth signing of the summer.

Fulham have completed the signing of midfielder Sander Berge from Burnley for a reported fee of £25 million.
The Norway international has signed a five-year deal, with the option of a further season.
Berge has drawn much attention during the summer transfer window, with Manchester United reported to have been among his admirers.
Berge had an impressive Premier League campaign last season, winning admirers despite being unable to prevent Burnley’s relegation to the Championship.
“It feels fantastic," Berge told Fulham's official website. "It’s been a little bit back and forth the last few weeks, but I’m finally sitting here in the shirt in this beautiful stadium, knowing that my future is here, which feels great."
He played 37 top-flight matches last term, finding the net once - and that was against his new team, Fulham.
Berge is yet to play this season, with Burnley manager Scott Parker saying an injury has kept him sidelined.
It was at Sheffield United where he first made an impact in England, after moving to Yorkshire from Genk in 2020.
He stayed at Bramall Lane for three years and helped them win promotion back to the Premier League in 2023, having been relegated the previous season.

Marco Silva will feel Berge will help plug a gap left by Joao Palhinha, who swapped London for Munich earlier this summer in a move to Bayern.
Berge is Fulham’s fourth addition of the window, following the arrivals of Emile Smith Rowe, Jorge Cuenca and Ryan Sessegnon.
