Premier League newcomers Burnley have signed experienced defender Kyle Walker from Manchester City for a fee reportedly worth up to £5 million.
The right-back joins The Clarets on a two-year deal, having completed his medical on Friday.
The 35-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at AC Milan, who did not activate the option to sign the defender on a permanent basis.
Walker departs Manchester City after eight years at Etihad Stadium, having made 319 appearances for the club since joining from Tottenham Hotspur in 2017 in a deal worth £50m.
Walker told the Burnley website: "I'm delighted to be here.
"When I spoke to Scott and heard about his plans for next season, it was an opportunity I jumped at. He's done an amazing job here, guiding the club back to the Premier League with a 100-point haul, and now we're looking forward, together, at being back in the greatest league in the world.
"Burnley had a tremendous campaign last season, built on an incredible defensive record, and I can't wait to come in and add my experience and quality to what looks an exciting squad."
Walker won 17 trophies at City, including six Premier League titles, the UEFA Champions League and two FA Cups.
He captained them to their most recent Premier League triumph in the 2023/24 campaign as they won a fourth successive title. His current deal in Manchester was set to expire next summer.
The right-back has made 96 appearances for England and continues to feature for the national team, making Thomas Tuchel's most recent squad in June.
He will now be hoping for regular minutes in the Premier League ahead of next summer's FIFA World Cup.

Walker reunites with Burnley head coach Scott Parker, with the pair having played together at Spurs between 2011 and 2013.
The 35-year-old is the fifth signing of the summer window for The Clarets, with the club having already acquired the services of Axel Tuanzebe, Quilindschy Hartman, Max Weiss and Loum Tchaouna.
Burnley achieved promotion back to the Premier League last season, finishing second in the Championship behind Leeds United on goal difference.
