One of the most impressive things about Palace's display at Manchester United was their work off the ball. They are impressing in that regard again this afternoon. They work so hard!

That's the threat Crystal Palace carry. Everton have been the better of the two teams in the opening 30 minutes, but the home side are very dangerous from set piece situations.

Everton look to be in control of this match. That isn't to say Crystal Palace aren't carrying a threat, but the Toffees are the ones dictating the pace and direction of the match.

Of course, it wasn't so long ago that Zaha was being heavily linked with a move to Everton. The Toffees wanted the winger last summer, but couldn't get him out of Palace.

Mina is still down after the off-the-ball clash with Zaha. The Crystal Palace winger is pleading his innocence though and it did look to be a harsh decision from the referee.

The first booking of the game and it goes to Zaha for a collision with Mina.

There is a sense that having scored the opening goal Everton are now taking a grip of this match as a contest. They are slowing things down with some passing in the middle.

Crystal Palace are having trouble picking up Gomes. It can be easy to overlook the Portuguese given the quality of James, but the hosts need to close down the space he's getting.

Good defending from Keane who was faced with a difficult situation. Ayew was applying the pressure on the Everton centre back, but he allowed the ball to run through to Pickford.

It's quite remarkable just how important Allan has become to Everton in such a short space of time. The former Napoli midfielder is the one who sets the tempo for the Toffees.

Pickford has come under intense pressure over the early part of the season after a couple of blunders, but Ancelotti has stood by his number one. He needs a good game here.

It has been a very bright start to this match. Both teams have been positive when they have received the ball, it's just that Everton have had a little bit more quality so far.
