Read the full report as Tottenham win on the back of Harry Kane’s 200th and 201st career goals.
A very flattering scoreline for Tottenham but that's what happen when you have class in the forward line. Kane yet again showed his importance to Spurs.
GOAL! Kane again. He set Lamela through on goal and his effort was well stopped by Dubravka but the England captain showed great desire to follow up with a diving header.
Still Newcastle attack, still little threat to the Tottenham defence.
Another strike from long-range from Saint-Maximin but it doesn't trouble Lloris. You can't fault his effort.
Kane is in the book for an elbow on Schaer. It was incidental but sore for the Toon defender.
Shelvey shoots at goal but his effort is easily gathered by Lloris.
Lazaro is fed the ball across the box by Saint-Maximilin and shoots firmly at goal but it flies into the side-netting.
The second drinks break. Can Bruce inspire his side to get level once more. Joelinton comes on for Gayle.
Jonjoy Shelvey goes into the book for a foul on Bergwijn.
Saint-Maximin is still trying. Here he cuts inside and levels a 25-yard strike at goal that flies a yard over the bar.
GOAL! That didn't last long. A fine cross to the far post from Bergwijn picks out Harry Kane and he heads home to bring up his 200th club goal.
GOAL! Ritchie has always looked the most likely source of a goal and here he gets Newcastle on level terms with a blistering strike from the edge of the box.
Nearly chances at either end. Ritchie hits a ball across the Spurs area that is cleared and then Kane just missed the chance to play in Son and his shot is smothered.
Nice inswinging corner from Lo Celso but Kane just can't get a header on the ball.
He's has no chances but Kane works had to win the ball near the Newcastle box and attempts to cut the ball back for a team-mate but it goes out for a corner.
Newcastle get us back underway.
They don't really deserve it but that's the quality they have upfront. Gayle so close to cancelling out Son's strike though.
Foul on Moura from Schaer gives Spurs a free kick 30 yards out that eventually comes to Moura on the edge of the box but he fires wide.
Nice flick and dummy from Saint-Maximin in the Spurs half. Comes to nothing. And no one around to entertain anyway.
