Save! Aguero cuts inside, nutmegging Fabinho, and opens the angle for a right-footed shot but it's at a comfortable height for Alisson who pushes the ball away from goal. And his wait for a first goal at Anfield continues.
Sterling is picked out at the far post, a change of pace takes him past Robertson but his cross is blocked.
Chance! Wijnaldum and Mane link up in a mouth-watering move, but the former then curls his side wide, though it took a deflection.
City are down, but not out. They are still having plenty of possession. Pep will want his team to stick to the game plan.
City have been very good on the ball but their defensive line has been at sixes and sevens. And against this ruthless Liverpool side you cannot give an inch.
