Hello and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE text commentary of the Premier League clash between Tottenham and Southampton at Wembley. Ralph Hasenhuttl was appointed as new Saints boss earlier today and will be in the stands to watch the strugglers take on a Spurs team determined to bounce back after that 4-2 defeat to Arsenal on Sunday. Can caretaker manager Kelvin Davies end a run of 10 matches without a win or will Mauricio Pochettino's side have too much for the visitors? Kick-off is 8pm.

NO PENALTY! Spurs counter, with Alli slipping a pass into Rose. He falls under the challenge of Ward-Prowse but there is nothing doing from the referee Anthony Taylor.
Saints continue to probe but still there's no way through. Tottenham are happy with just the three goals and are sitting back, absorbing pressure.
There was a huge shock at Molineux this evening where Wolves defeated Chelsea 2-1, which, of course, is good news for Spurs. It's 2-2 between Man United and Arsenal, meaning Pochettino's side will move into third, as it stands.
Son is full of the joys after grabbing Tottenham's third of the evening.

ANOTHER SAVE! Lloris is on top form this evening! He throws himself to ground to push Austin's reverse shot wide of the far post.
DOUBLE SAVE! And still it won't go in for Saints! Hojberg fires one from 20 yards and Lloris can't hold it. The rebound falls to Ward-Prowse who has all of the net to aim for but Lloris makes a brilliant block.
SPURS SUB: Moussa Sissoko replaces Moura for the last 15 minutes or so.

MISS! The visitors work the corner routine well, playing it short and pulling the ball back to Targett who finds himself in space in the penalty area. The less said about the finish the better, though. He leans back and blazes the shot into the back of the stands. It sums things up for Southampton right now.
Southampton are enjoying a spell of pressure now and win their fourth corner of the game.
SAINTS SUB: Gabbiadini makes way for Charlie Austin.

Davis, the club captain, has to take more responsibility there. If he scores Southampton have something to fight for.
BLOCK! The ball falls perfectly for Davis who has to shoot from point-blank range, but instead opts to pull it back for Ward-Prowse. The defenders gather themselves to make the block.
Southampton have knocked the ball around well, at times, this evening, but their final touch has let them down.
Moura celebrates scoring Tottenham's second of the evening.
HOW DOES THAT NOT GO IN? Ward-Prowse fizzes in a wonderful free-kick delivery. It's begging to be bundled over the line by Yodhida but somehow Lloris reacts quickest and smothers it.
