In a season of protests, it's been reported that Everton will add to the tally this afternoon. Roberto Martinez had this to say about it: "We are all hurting together. I understand their passion and as a football club they make us what we are. Football without passion makes no sense... Only when you get through those difficult experiences and those painful moments do you get a renewed drive to fight more than ever and find a way of challenging for silverware."

Everton players will line out today wearing t-shirts honouring the 96 victims of the Hillsborough disaster and those who campaigned for justice on their behalf.

Everton's form at home this season has looked particularly bad - second worse in the league only to relegated Aston Villa. And in fact it's only today's opponents Bournemouth and Villa, again, who've conceded more goals at home than Everton.

Meanwhile things look bleak for Everton manager Roberto Martinez, not least since his men were knocked out of the FA cup last weekend. It's been a disappointing season for the Toffees, sitting 11th in the league with fans looking increasingly annoyed by the current situation.

Bournemouth's form hasn't been great just lately, having lost four of their last five games, though they do have pretty decent away form, losing just one in their last seven.

Both Everton and Bournemouth are safe in the Premier League this season, perhaps an unexpected turn of events for Bournemouth who were newly-promoted at the beginning of the season. But the higher the Cherries finish the better given associated financial rewards.

And some good news for Bournemouth fans with Harry Arter and Callum WIlson returning to the starting XI. It's WIlson's first since way back in September when the striker was injured.

For Everton, Matthew Pennington is making his Premier League debut today and Oumar Niasse will also make his first start for the Blues. Though they are without Phil Jagielka, Gareth Barry and Seamus Coleman who are both injured. Ramiro Funes Mori is serving a suspension.
