Hello and welcome to St Mary's Stadium for Southampton against Newcastle United in the Premier League. A mixed start to the season for both sides means this game could have a significant effect on the mood at both clubs.

The Frenchman curls a beautiful shot past Krul to make it consecutive 4-0 defeats to Newcastle at Southampton.

There will be three minutes of added time. Southampton will probably dominate them just like they have all the others.

Lovely movement from Southampton as Davis latches onto Pelle's backheel. The Northern Irishman opens his body up and curls an effort just wide of Krul's goal.

Ayoze takes a speculative shot from the edge of the area now, which takes a deflection on its way over the bar. The corner leads to nothing after a foul in the Southampton area.

Just a reminder that Alan Pardew's contract runs until 2020, in theory...

Now Ward-Prowse curls a show over the bar from just outside the area.

Pelle almost connects with a Ward-Prowse cross as he chases a hattrick.

More confusion in the Southampton area leads to another corner.

Oh dear. Forster flaps at a rare Newcastle cross, which allows Sissoko to pull the ball back to Riviere. The striker takes an ugly swipe at the ball and Jack Colback is unable to divert the mishit shot in. Massive chance wasted.

Newcastle are totally lacking in desire. Bertrand is allowed to run forward again under little pressure and he wins another Southampton corner.

The ball ricochets around in Newcastle's box and Pelle maybe could have poked home for a hat-trick if he had known the ball was behind him.

Both sets of fans are focusing their attention on Pardew as the game ambles along.

And it's now a second change for Newcastle, with Ayoze Perez coming on for the underwhelming Cabella.

It's a second change for Southampton, with the excellent Tadic making way for England under-21 international James Ward-Prowse.

For Southampton manager Ronald Koeman, however, things are now looking very good after a shaky summer at the club. They have lost none of their potency going forward.

Pardew is not leaving te dugout to give any instructions. He knows that kind of reaction he would get if he did. The Magpies are doing nothing to suggest they will even score one.

Tadic and Pelle nearly connect again, but this time Krul smothers the cross at the near post.

Pardew is getting it from all quarters now.
