And that is it. QPR couldn't muster a rally big enough to change the game. Everton get a much needed three points.

Everton in full control here. The game is all but over.

Onuoha makes a meal of clearing the ball and almost loses out to Kone but he manages to clear but gift the ball right back to Everton.

Barkley is over the free kick 35 yards out central. He places it with real purpose. He hits it really well but it just goes wide of the post.

Kone comes on for the injured Mirallas.

Mirallas is still down and looks in serious pain here. Replay shows his ankle looks like it twisted awkwardly.

Yellow for Mutch as he scythes down Mirallas 35 yards out in the middle of the pitch. The Belgian is still down injured.

Kranjcar with an effort from 30 yards out in space. He hit it low but he just scuffed it a little and Howard could gather easily low to his right.

Good play from Pienaar who got his body across Onuoha who was trying to drive forward but could only pull Pienaar out of the way for a foul.

Naismith tries to feed in Mirallas but he loses out to Isla who drives forward superbly. The cross towards Zamora is blocked for a corner.

Superb from Besic as he dispossesses Krancjar in the middle. Gritty play in the middle. Good to see for the fans.

Everton are just trying to take the sting out of this game as QPR have found a second wing following their goal.

CHANCE! Great ball from Barkley into the path of Coleman storming down the right. He doesn't even have to break stride and he smashes it towards goal but Green does well to save.

Besic flicks the ball forward to Baines on the left but his header inside to Pienaar is too heavy and Dunne can clear up.

GOAL! QPR get one back as Zamora pokes in from close range. Hoilett dribbles in from the left and finds Mutch who shoots but it is well saved by Howard low to his left. The ball drops kindly for Zamora who tucks it home.

Poor ball from Barton as he looks for Hoilett over the top but he slices the pass and it runs straight through to Howard.

Krancjar fouls Barkley as the Everton man shows glorious feet in the middle of the park. He's been excellent.

A few changes here. Fer comes off for Krancjar for QPR while Lukaku makes way for Samuel Eto'o.
