Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Premier League game between West Bromwich Albion and Sunderland. It’s the who-gets-sacked-first derby.

Gardner takes, and it's clipped on at the back post for another corner. Myhill punches the ball away, but it's fouled at the same time, earning a free kick.

The second corner is headed away at the back post. Mavrias has the ball back, and Amalfitano's sliding interception just clips him, and Sunderland have a free kick at the corner of the penalty box.

Mavrias, on the left, gives Colback time and space to cross, but it's put out for a corner, which is then headed out by Mulumbu.

Mulumbu is back! Congratulations to science and modern medicine. Colback's pass is deflected out for a throw.

Mulumbu is on the sidelines, receiving treatment.

West Brom have their first attack of the game, but Mulumbu is injured in the process, caught late by Gardner and he moved the ball forward.

The change, apparently, is a tactical one, rather than due to an injury. Giaccherini wasn't notably worse than the other players in the Sunderland side.

Giaccherini is replaced by Mavrias, and West Brom kick off.

A cross, from Johnson this time, is again too high and Myhill has it. The ref calls for half time. West Brom deserve the lead, and Sunderland faded after their bright start.

We're into the last minute of the half, and Giaccherini's cross for Borini is too high, and Myhill claims.

Borini is fouled just outside the centre circle, and Sunderland have a free kick.

Anelka flicks the ball on to Sessegnon, who runs forward, jinks past/into O'Shea, and doesn't get the free kick he wanted.

Westwood sends the ball straight out for a throw. Morrison aims the ball at Anelka but it's intercepted. Both sides seem ready for half time, as the quality has slipped now.

Nicolas Anelka is slipped clear, but as soon as he takes a touch of it, the linesman indicates an obvious offside.

Sunderland win the ball back. Johnson's pass from right to left is also right to the crowd. Throw in for West Brom.

Mulumbu finds Anelka on the right with a measured pass, his low cross is to the near post, anticipating a Sinclair run that doesn't come, and Diakite clears for a throw.

A long ball to Fletcher is taken away by Mulumbu. West Brom are keeping the ball with short passes amongst the Sunderland players. It's impressive stuff, but comes to nothing Borini attacks down the right, but West Brom do excellently to win the ball back.

Sessegnon brilliantly breaks the ball from left to right, and is absolutely clumped with the second pass right, but the cross back to him in the centre is caught just in time.

Nothing happened.

West Brom have a free kick on the halfway line, and promptly give the ball away. Johnson then gives the ball away, and we start again. The ball is cleared up to Sessegnon on the left, and Ki can only bring him down cynically, and is rightly booked.
