Morrison blasts a free kick over the goal, and the referee whistles for full time. Sunderland look doomed, and West Brom will benefit from the confidence of playing them.

We're into the final minute now. As long as they don't score my match report is golden.

Goal! Morgan Amalfitano gets a deserved goal. Anichebe backs into O'Shea, spreads the ball into the winger's path, and his shot is so well struck past Westwood, that he can only get his fingers to it.

West Brom have a throw in the top right of the pitch, and play the ball back to defence, keeping it there.

The first of five more minutes. West Brom are just keeping the ball without fuss.

Altidore attempts to barge through on goal, but he's closed down easily. Amalfitano brings the ball forward.

Sessegnon is applauded off by both sets of fans, replaced by Berahino.

Sunderland struggle for space as they are outnumbered. Sessegnon rolls the ball for Ridgewell to cross, and Morrison strains, only able to head the ball wide and high.

Amalfitano on the right, gives the ball to Jones and back again, and the winger is tackled.

Ridgewell runs forty yards unchallenged, lays the ball off to Sunderland, whose cross is headed away.

Anichebe backs into O'Shea on the edge of the box, and goes to ground. It's unclear what the correct decision is, but the referee gives nothing.

Apparently Paolo Di Canio has a net spend (NET SPEND!) of around forty million pounds. He's spent over a hundred million in total. That's not really good enough. West Brom are in total control.

This game is over now. Sunderland have again given up, and they have fewer than no ideas. What's a minus idea?

Ki has limped off. Di Canion implores him back on. I'm not sure that's wise.

Ki is down injured. This could get funny/awful for Sunderland now.

West Brom have so much space. Anichebe has the ball just inside the box, spreads the ball to Amalfitano, whose return ball is rubbish.

Sessesgnon slips the ball into Anichebe after excellent footwork, but the ball bounces his off him for a Sunderland goal kick.

There's a small child crying because his team are losing. Pathetic.

Goal! Liam Ridgewell seals the victory for West Brom. Amalfitano collects the ball on the right, beats two players as he runs diagonally towards goal. He stands the ball up, and as others flap at it, he blasts the ball into the goal at the back post.

Play has restarted, and West Brom will be severely disappointed if they fail to win from here.
