Pochettino on his Saints future: "Real Madrid are an amazing club and you never know what can happen in football, but at present all my thoughts are on Southampton. I am under contract until the end of this season and next, so there is time. A contract does not guarantee you are going to be at a club. You could sign a 10-year contract and be sacked the next day, or decide you want to leave. I don’t think a contract is that important.”

Mark Hughes on how Stoke will go abou beating Saints: "We have to be nice and solid at Southampton because they are a very high-tempo team with good technical players. We need to have a good base to build upon and hopefully we will be able to keep them out and then look to cause the damage at the other end of the pitch. The key is getting that first goal and that is what we will be hoping to do on Saturday."

AWAY NEWS: Mark Hughes also makes two changes with centre half Wilson suffering from a chest infection and is replaced in the heart of the defence by Muniesa. Loanee Assaidi also comes in for Arnatauvic who picked up an ankle injury in last weeks win over Manchester United.

HOME NEWS: Mauricio Pocchetino has made two changes from the side that battered Fulham last week. Clyne comes in at right back for Chambers who picked up a knock at Craven Cottage last week but makes the bench. Jack Cork also comes in for Wanyama in central midfield. Saints' English front three all retain their places.
