Fellaini witlessly sends a pass to nobody. I just do not understand why he's playing so badly for United.

Valencia sends a terrible pass inside, possibly a heavy touch, and Gouffran gives him an easy out with a silly trip. Speaking of trips, did anyone watch The Trip last night? I didn't, so you're going to have to carry the rest of the conversation.

Newcastle have had 56% of the ball so far. Just give them the three points.

Haidara volleys in a cross high up the pitch, but it's straight at Valencia and out for a throw. Haidara sends in a long throw and it drops to Tiote to slice miles over.

Young collects a ball on the right, and is tackled by Haidara, eventually Haidara wins a throw as he's closed down, and Young has hurt his finger or thumb.

Young curls in a lovely cross past Haidara for Hernandez, but Williamson does well to cover and concede a corner. Young takes the corner, it's chested down by Fellaini, but he's penalised for a foul, which seemed very harsh. Ah well. In fact, the ball hit's Fellaini's upper arm. Fair enough, ref!

Young buys a free kick on the right wing. Alan Pardew is on the phone. It's a landline. How odd. Surely a mobile is easier?

Hernandez toes the ball right to Young, who drives down the right and cuts the ball back across the box. Newcastle put the ball behind for a corner. Mata's corner is sent in deep, but Newcastle clear.

Young wins a corner off Haidara on the right wing.

Cisse gets to a high ball that the Manchester United defence couldn't clear. His shot from outside the box is dragged well wide.

Fellaini passes the ball forward instead of recreating his run straight out of play against Bayern. That was a magical moment that few of us will ever forget.

Santon curls the ball into the box for Gosling, and he sends a firm header, just in the box, wide of goal.

Newcastle send the ball long with an Elliot clearance that drifts out of play, and then win a free kick on the right with an Evra foul.
