Suarez looks for Henderson for a quick one-two but is knocked to ground as he attempts to continue his run. He’s been as lively as ever, but has been waiting for his first big chance.

Oh dear. Not so good this time from Mignolet as his attempted pass to Flanagan goes straight out of play.

A Suarez shot deflects behind for a corner but Coutinho’s delivery is cleared by Kevin Nolan. He has blown hot and cold so far today (Coutinho that is).

Suarez chucks himself to ground after a bit of contact from the arm of Collins. The West Ham defender isn’t impressed but he gets a talking to.

SUPERB SAVE! A one-handed stop from Mignolet keeps out an angled header from Maiga following a Jarvis cross. That is exceptional.

Sterling races clear on the right wing and Collins leaves it for Jaaskelainen as the keeper dives to ground to smother the cross which comes in.

Coutinho and Henderson combine nicely but the former fails to find the latter with a flicked pass. It was a nice attempt to burrow through the centre of the West Ham defence though.

CHANCE FOR LIVERPOOL! Henderson takes a shot from inside the box but Suarez blocks it with his face as he tries quickly to shape his body and divert it past Jaaskelainen.

That was a superb piece of distribution from Mignolet – positively Reina-esque. Sterling, making a rather rare start, also produced a fine cross from the left.

Matt Jarvis takes the corner for West Ham but Mignolet takes it superbly and starts a counter with a brilliant throw from Mignolet for Sterling. His cross finds Henderson and his effort deflects behind for a corner.

West Ham get a shot away as Maiga sees his low shot come off up Johnson and wide for a corner.

Diame tries to trick his way past Flanagan but the young full-back watches the ball and not his opponent’s feet, nicking it away at the right time.

Just before that, Diame played a gorgeous pass through for Modibo Maiga, who stuck out his toe but only just failed to connect.

CHANCE! Coutinho slips a pass through the legs of an opponent to find Suarez to the right of the box and the Uruguayan fires in a low effort that Jaaskelainen saves. Should have done better.

Suarez gets the ball on the edge of the box and spots Jussi Jaaskelainen off his line. He tries an audacious chip to the far post but puts it over. Worth a go, especially considering the quality of his goals on Wednesday.

Liverpool are starting to string some passes together and look confident at the moment.

Glen Johnson gets into an advanced position on the right and when trying to pick out Sterling’s run at the far post he puts far too much on the ball. A waste.

CHANCE! Suarez gets in behind Collins and unselfishly attempts to find a team-mate with a neat reverse pass. Would have been better off shooting – not that he usually needs to be asked again.

Now Coutinho gets a block in on Collins as Liverpool break with intent once again.
