First sub for Hull. George Boyd comes on for David Meyler.

Jedinak attempts a big cross from deep. He gets right underneath it and gets the kind of height a rugby player would be proud of.
55'
Long with a late tackle on Jedinak in the middle. The Aussie flicked the ball round the corner and was clattered by the diminutive Irishman. Escapes a booking.
54'
Bolasie tries a mazy run down the right but is stopped by Rosenior who sets up another Hull attack. Again though, the Tigers are slow in possession and can't break quickly.
53'
Delaney with a dodgy clearance finds Elmohamady on the right. He stands one up in the middle but no-one is there to meet it but Gabbidon who clears.
52'
Hull with a lot of the ball but going nowhere with it. Palace are sat deep and working very hard.
51'
Speroni goes long again but Hull get the ball back easily. Not much change from the first half here.
50'
Bad miss by Livermore. The long ball is won by Jelavic. Jedinak misses the rebound and it falls to Livermore centrally on the edge of the area. He has time and space but slashes it over the bar.

The rain is pouring now and Hull attempt to get up the pitch but nothing it doing. Eventually a cross comes in. Jelavic gets above the defenders but mistimes his header completely.
48'
Palace go long to Chamakh who flicks on to Jerome. He finds Bolasie on the right but the winger tries to be clever and get a shot away but it goes harmlessly wide.
47'
Scrapy start to the half as neither team gets control of the ball. A lot of ping pong in the middle of the park.

And the second period gets underway. Steve Bruce will be hoping his £13 million strike-force can find at least an equaliser.

And that is half time! Palace go in at the break a goal up despite Hull having a decent shout for a penalty.
45+2
Chamakh gives away a free kick around 40 yards out centrally after tumbling in to Long. Huddlestone has pulled rank and will take. He strides up and laces it and forces a save from Speroni who palms it away for a corner.
45+1
Mcgregor's kick is poor and gives Hull's players no chance. Palace mop up but give it straight back after a long punt from Speroni.
45'
Jerome out muscles McShane to the ball on the break. He holds up well and finds Mariappaon the right who in turn finds Bolasie. Palace content to just keep the ball.
44'
Speroni taking his time with this kick. No surprise. Jelavic handles in the middle of the park and that should see Palace through to half time.
43'
Hull pushing for an equaliser before half time. Palace's pressing working a treat though as the away side refuse to go long. Every time they have it has come to nothing.
42'
Bolasie turns McShane inside out on the right wing. He whips a fantastic cross to Puncheon at the far post but Chamakh doesn't see him and tries to take it off the winger which puts him off and his header goes well wide.
41'
Hull fuming after Jelavic gets flattened by Gabbidon on the edge of the area. Absolutely nothing given.
40'
Meyler and Rosenior link on the left wing. He crosses for Jelavic but the Croatian just can't reach it. Elmohamady's cross from the right is then gathered by Speroni.
