Fulham have exactly the same number of points after 32 matches as they did in 2007-08, which is their lowest haul in Premier League history. They won four of the last six matches to escape the drop on the final day on goal difference. Aston Villa have only mustered fewer points after 31 Premier League games in one previous campaign (30 in 2012-13).

Felix Magath: "I had a phone call with the owner and everything is fine. He knows the situation, he knows how things work. I have no doubt about my contract. I don't worry about it. It's normal if things in clubs don't go well. There is politics, people who call journalists and tell them: 'I know that is going on,' but I don't care. Sure I'll be here next season. I'm here to build a team. That was clear from the beginning. I like to develop teams, I like to develop players.."

Paul Lambert on a possible Villa return for Darren Bent: "No, the club's moved on. Darren has not really played for me for two years. Obviously he's been on loan at Fulham, here we've had Christian's form and that's football. Whatever happens at the end of the season will happen."

Fulham midfielder Scott Parker remains out with a knee problem. Striker Kostas Mitroglou continues to be sidelined by a knee problem but may return against Norwich on April 12. Defender Fernando Amorebieta returns from suspension after being sent off in the 5-0 defeat by Manchester City.

Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert faces a striker crisis. Christian Benteke is expected to be sidelined for up to six months after suffering a serious Achilles tendon injury in training on Friday, while Gabby Agbonlahor is out after a sickness bug. Nathan Baker has recovered from the foot injury which sidelined him in last week's 4-1 defeat at Old Trafford, but Karim El Ahmadi remains out after a thigh strain.
