SOUTHAMPTON TEAM NEWS: New signing Vegard Forren does not make the bench for the Saints despite rumours in the week he would be making his Premier League bow. Mauricio Pochettino has recalled 17-year-old Luke Shaw to left-back in place of Danny Fox in the only change to the team that lost to Man Utd in midweek. Saints skipper Adam Lallana is on the bench following his return from injury. Jose Fonte and Guily Do Prado are both out with knee injuries.

WIGAN TEAM NEWS: Returning hero and deadline day purchase Paul Scharner makes his second debut for the club just days after returning to Wigan. Emerson Boyce was doubtful with a hamstring injury and hasn't made the squad and Arouna Kone is away at the Africa Cup of Nations so Franco di Santo leads the line. Roberto Martinez is still resisting giving Man Utd loanee Angelo Henriquez a start so the Chilean remains on the bench.
