Nice attempt by Weimann to spin a low cross into Agbonlahor's path, but the Villa striker was well marshalled by Rafael and it flies out for a goal kick.
7'
Delph gives away a free-kick on the United right. Giggs to swing it in, but he curls it too close to Guzan, who takes well and kicks long.
6'
Rafael gets in loads of space wide right again but his low cross is cleared by Vlaar. Bennett all over the place there.

Jeers from the home fans as N'Zogbia miscontrols on the right.
4'
Villa on the attack but Evans and then Jones do well to snuff it out. Weimann almost got in.

VAN PERSIE VOLLEYS JUST OVER! Another great chance for the Dutchman but he fires over with his left foot. Half-chance as he was off balance.

GOAL UNITED! Van Persie with an easy finish after Valencia cut the ball back to Rafael, whose high cross is knocked across goal by Giggs for RvP to knock it past a stranded Guzan. 1-0, all starting from Rooney's brilliant long ball from centre to right.

Lovely turn of pace and touch by Jones as he cuts inside from the right. Rooney is sitting deep and swings a beautiful long ball to Valencia on the right....

@tokas_united: "my own prediction is 4-2. with United winning the game. #20thtitle with 3 games to spare. #RESPECT #GGMU" - easy on the hashtags, but it's hard to disagree with the sentiment. Tweet your predictions @Reda_Eurosport.

"Villa will either scrape this 2-1, or lose 4-0. You heard it here first!" - from Villa fan @JoshuaHayward99. Come on, send over your predictions. Massive game this! Both sets of players are set to trot out down the tunnel. Should be a cracker.

William Hill's odds make United clear favourites at 1/4, with Villa a long shot at 12/1, the draw also long at 9/2. What do you reckon? I'm going for a 3-2 United win. Let me know on Twitter @Reda_Eurosport.

Sir Alex Ferguson: "Vidic is injured actually and Rio has a slight injury which isn't worth risking given the magnitude of the game. Phil Jones and Jonny Evans are fine young players, and with the pace Villa have that will help."

OMINOUS FACT: Man Utd have scored in each of their last 21 Premier League games. The second longest current run this season is five (Aston Villa/Chelsea).
19:35
FACT: Aston Villa have lost 28 Premier League games against Manchester United – six more defeats than against any other side. Of sides that Aston Villa have faced more than four times in the Premier League, they have the lowest win percentage against Manchester United (7%).
19:30
FACT: Aston Villa have won just one of their last 34 Premier League games against Manchester United (L24 D9); with this victory coming at Old Trafford in December 2009 (Opta)

If United win tonight, they will move 16 points clear of City, who have a game in hand but only five left. That will be a 20th league title for the club, 13 of which would have come under Fergie. If Villa lose, they would be three points ahead of 18th-placed Wigan, but the Latics will have a game in hand and superior goal difference. In the unlikely event of a Villa win, QPR and Reading would go down.
19:20
Villa welcome back Gabriel Agbonlahor from a groin strain, the local striker replacing Jordan Bowery in the XI, the only change from the 1-1 draw with Fulham. Midfielder Gary Gardner is some way short of a return after recovering from a knee injury, while Chris Herd, Marc Albrighton (both foot) and Richard Dunne (groin) are still out.
19:15
No new injury worries for Sir Alex Ferguson as he chases a 13th career title and United's 20th league triumph, but he makes a few changes following the hurly-burly draw with West Ham. Both Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic make way for Jonny Evans and Phil Jones, who drops back from midfield, with Ryan Giggs returning to the XI in midfield. Ashley Young misses out against his old club after being ruled out for the remainder of the campaign with an ankle injury. Paul Scholes (knee) is also out.
