SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE EQUALISER! Benteke fires over when he should have scored after a brilliant run by Weimann through the middle! Weimann is so quick - as is Agbonlahor - and Benteke had to score!

Evra's low cross is almost turned in by Van Persie but Baker gets a touch on it. Valencia could shoot from the rebound but he slips and Villa scramble the ball clear!

United are carving Villa apart as Rafael hits the left-hand post with a fizzing drive from the edge of the box! That came after two waves of attacks saw Villa clinging on!

SHOULD HAVE BEEN TWO! Giggs with an outrageous turn of pace to skin Lowton on the United left, an equally good cross stood up for Van Persie but Vlaar intercepts his knock-down before Kagawa can get there.

Nice attempt by Weimann to spin a low cross into Agbonlahor's path, but the Villa striker was well marshalled by Rafael and it flies out for a goal kick.
