Morison beats the offside trap and takes another long ball forward on the runa nd Evans slides in to nick the ball off him, but only after getting two tries at doing so! The Northern Ireland defender really does not look comfortable against the Welshman.

Possession stats so far show that Norwich have had 56% of the ball. Surprised it's not more, to be honest.

Anthony Pilkington (yes, Anthony), cuts in from the left wing and has a pop from distance that is blocked by Anderson. Norwich playing without fear. Paul Lambert has done a good job of geeing his players up for this one.

Morison certainly appears to have the beating of Evans going by the evidence of these early exchanges.

Norwich are getting far more success in the centre of the parkk than they probably expected. A long dinked ball is chested down by Morison and he fires through Jonny Evans's legs and wide of the far post!

Anthony Pilkington pings a nice ball out wide for Hoolahan, but the Irishman's first touch is enough to let Valencia shepherd the ball out for a goal kick.

Morison is really putting himself about up front for the Canaries. Twice his bustling almost gets the better of Jones and then he outwits Valencia chasing a 50/50 ball. The Welshman is judged to have impeded Jones, though.

Nani swings in United's first corner of the game. It seems to ping off someone's back but hard enough to coem out of the area. rooney whips in a dangerous second ball but play is eventually stopped for a foul on a Norwich defender.
10'
David Fox is penalised for a foul in midfield on Anderson. United take the free-kick quickly and Nani fires into the crowd from range.

Ruddy's big kick out is flicked on by Morison for Wes Hoolahan, who takes it on his chest and fires a half-volley on the turn way off target from 30 yards. Worth a go though.

Wayne Rooney has scored six goals and one assist in his last eight Premier League matches at Old Trafford. Rooney has scored 10 goals in his last six Premier League starts.

United are completely dominating possession. So far the pattern is come forward down the right, cross in for Ruddy to catch, win ball back and repeat...

Manchester United’s have won 18 consecutive home matches, extending their Premier League record and equalling an overall club record.

United deal with the set piece well enough, but they were really caught out down the left for that chance.

Elliott Bennett scampers down the right and gets to the byline! He tries to square across to Steve Morison but it's cut out by Phil Jones! Corner to Norwich.

First attack from United. Darren Fletcher brings the ball forward and slips it through to Wayne Rooney, but the first-time strike does not trouble John Ruddy.
