We're finally underway in this match, and Everton kick us off with Fellaini getting a few good early touches.

There is a long delay as Caldwell changes his boots, and the Goodison Park crowd are not at all happy with this rather unnecessary wait...
14:55
Right, we're just five minutes from kick off now, and it's a gloriously sunny day on Merseyside as the two sides make their way out onto the field....

Moyes admits his last-minute sale of Mikel Arteta to Arsenal may have sent out the wrong signals to both his squad and Barclays Premier League rivals. The Toffees allowed the Spaniard to move to the Gunners after a £10million bid came in on deadline day and the player asked to leave. Moyes has stressed he has no intention of allowing Everton to become a selling club while he is in charge.

Everton's season has so far been overshadowed by off-field problems with their lack of funds highlighted by the recent sales of Mikel Arteta, Ayegbeni Yakubu and Jermaine Beckford. Yakubu has just scored twice in a magnificent display for Blackburn against Arsenal, incidentally! What do you all make of those departures?
14:40
PRE-MATCH STAT: Everton are unbeaten in their last 11 Premier League north west derbies at Goodison Park, winning eight in that run.

As for Roberto Martinez, his verdict was: "I think Everton are a real example of how to be competitive on the pitch whatever happens off it. Anything that happens at board level, with certain players or fans, can have an affect on the football pitch. Players are human beings and you get affected psychologically by the events that are going on around you. But if I could highlight an example of how not to be affected by that on the pitch, it is Everton."

David Moyes said before this match: "We have got some options. I don't know how many we registered in the 25-man squad but it wasn't that many. We have competition and I have said if I don't think someone is quite playing well enough then I will change it. I've got good competition at right-back with Tony Hibbert and Phil Neville and that is healthy."

WIGAN TEAM NEWS: Wigan defender Emmerson Boyce (hamstring) is rated only 50-50 for the visit to Goodison Park. Defenders Steven Gohouri (calf) and Antolin Alcaraz (thigh) are getting closer to fitness but remain sidelined. Manager Roberto Martinez, who made seven changes in the Carling Cup in midweek, will revert to a more familiar line-up but Shaun Maloney, David Jones and Patrick van Aanholt could make league debuts.
14:15
EVERTON TEAM NEWS: Loan signing Royston Drenthe could be pushing for his first Everton start against Wigan after featuring for the reserves in midweek. Fellow deadline-day arrival Denis Stracqualursi may also make his Toffees debut while Phil Neville is fighting to regain his place in the side after being left out last weekend. With striker Louis Saha still not fully match fit Tim Cahill is expected to start in attack again.
14:10
A reminder that the lunchtime Premier League clash is well into the second half, and Arsenal are in real trouble away at bottom side Blackburn...
14:05
It's been an eventful season already for Arsenal with the loss of Mikel Arteta and two strikers on deadline day - but their league position will look fairly healthy if they can find their way past a Wigan side who've begun the season well and find themselves one place above them in ninth.
