Watson wins a towering header in midfield as Wigan break, but Everton defend stoutly to clear.
Two minutes will be added as Cahill rises high to meet Bilyaletdinov's cross, only to head wide of the near post.
Bilyaletdinov feeds Osman down the left, and the forward is fouled to give Baines another chance to whip the ball into the box.
The home fans are infuriated with the referee as Watson wins a free kick deep inside the Everton half, but Moses wastes the set piece.
Cahill and Coleman combine out on the right for Everton, but Al Habsi claims a tame cross from the latter.
Wigan continue to battle hard on halfway, but Figueroa takes it too far with a robust challenge on Rodwell and he is penalised.
Di Santo tracks back superbly and continues to work tirelessly from his position out on the right predominantly, and he makes a fine tackle.
Osman and Cahill do at least provide good movement in attack for Everton despite not being conventional forwards.
Gomez goes down very easily deep inside the Everton half, but there is no doing and the referee is not remotely impressed.
Moses produces another dangerous run, cutting in from the left flank and beating Hibbert with ease, but his cross is poor.
Everton win a free kick on the very edge of the Wigan box, and after a long drawn out build-up, eventually Baines trots up to drag a low effort wide!
Goodison Park has sprung to life as both sets of supporters roar their respective sides on, and Everton are back on the front foot...
GOAL!!!! JAGIELKA LEVELS FOR EVERTON! Baines's corner is floated over with Cahill heading against the crossbar, and Jagielka is on hand to turn it into the net from the rebound!
GOAL!!!! DI SANTO SCORES! Wigan are in front as the forward cuts in from the left following a corner kick, and has his low drive deflected past Howard into the top corner of the net!
Hibbert comes to Everton's rescue with a quite stupendous intervention in the six-yard box after Moses forces his way through two challenges and into the Everton penalty area!
