They may not have had the best start to the season, but Wigan are one of only two teams to have not tasted defeat on the road this term. They are in good company, Manchester United are the other team.

Wigan have managed only seven league goals this season, the fewest along with relegation-rivals West Ham. They have only found the net twice in the first half of a match, Stoke are the only team with a worse record.

Hughes will be concerned that his team have failed to win any of the league matches in which they have scored first this season, losing twice and drawing the other two. He'll be hoping Clint Dempsey will prove a lucky omen, he has scored three times in his last six games against Wigan.

After a difficult start to the season, Wigan are unbeaten in their last four league matches. It's the first time they have achieved this under Roberto Martinez and if they avoid defeat it will be their longest undefeated run in two years.
