It just hasn't been Wigan's afternoon, Al Habsi once again looking uncomfortable with the ball at his feet and boots it straight out for a Fulham throw.

The game is yet to settle down since the interval. Wigan aren't displaying the urgency they need to turn this one around.

Dempsey doubles Fulham's lead! Chris Baird fires a low cross in towards Dempsey, who on the turn produces an excellent first-time finish to make it two nil. Beautiful football.

Fulham so close to making it two! Salcido with another excellent cross, Dempsey's header at the far post is tipped onto the bar excellently by Al Habsi, the rebound falls to Zoltan Gera who can't keep his header down from a couple of yards out! The Cottagers are finishing the half strongly!

Zoltan Gera goes very close for Fulham! Davies finds Dembele, his lay off is beautiful for Gera who curls a low effort inches wide of Al Habsi's near post.

It has been quite a scrappy affair so far, probably a combination of the wet pitch and Wigan's combative midfield.

N'Zogbia almost tests Schwarzer with a free kick from 30 yards out, his dipping drive is just over the crossbar.
