Eibar are seeing plenty of the ball in the early exchanges of this match. They aren't the sort of team to sit back, even when they are up against a side of Real Madrid's quality.

This hasn't been the best of starts from Real Madrid. The home fans inside the Santiago Bernabeu are already on the back of their team. There's not much urgency from the hosts.

Keep in mind that Real Madrid have already lost to Eibar before this season. The Basque side have a lot of quality and they play a certain type of football that causes problems for opponents.

That's twice that Real Madrid have lost the ball in their own half. They look shaky on the ball at the back. Zidane has a lot of work on his hands to re-establish some defensive resolution.

Real Madrid were dreadful away to Valencia at the Mestalla during the week. They looked so vulnerable at the back and Eibar will want to make the most of that weakness here.

Good chance for Eibar! That was an opportunity for the away side to take the lead! Cucurella got in behind and fizzed a pass right across the face of the goal, but there were no takers.

Isco already has the measure of this Eibar defence. The Real Madrid playmaker is opening them up at will and Bale and Benzema are the beneficiaries of that. He's started well.

Bale was clean through! The Welsh winger should have opened the scoring for Real Madrid! Isco played the pass in behind for Bale, but Dmitrovic makes the save to deny him from a one-on-one situation.

Kroos is another player who has been linked with a move away from Real Madrid in the summer and the German midfielder has been left out of the team for this game by Zidane.

Bale has a point to prove. He has suffered a pretty dismal season and now many expect the Welsh winger to be sold by Real Madrid in the summer. Zidane doesn't seem to be a fan.
