It's a victory for Real Madrid, but they had to work hard for it. Eibar were comfortable for much of the match and might have been more than one goal to the good a half time. However, Zidane's side upped their game in the second half and Benzema dragged his team out of trouble and to three points.

Benzema denied the hat trick! That perhaps should have been three for the Real Madrid striker! Vazquez played the low pass into Benzema, but Dmitrovic came off his line to smother the shot!

As poor as Real Madrid were in the first half, they have done well to turn things around in the second half. Benzema has been a driving force and he will claim the headlines, deservedly.

Eibar have thrown on their top scorer for the season, Charles, for the final few minutes.

Not many players have done their jobs at Real Madrid this season, but fingers cannot be pointed at Benzema. He now has 26 for the season and six goals in his last five appearances.
