That certainly wasn't the best performance from Real Madrid, they were forced to do some defending in the second half, but they got the three points in the end. What's more, Zidane was able to rest many of his key players ahead of next week's semi final second leg against Bayern Munich. Bale was impressive.

Eraso comes on for the final few minutes at the Bernabeu. He does have goals in him.

Mayoral has really struggled to make much of an impression in the final third. The young striker hasn't had many first team opportunities this season. He'll be very disappointed.

Leganes have already pulled off a big result against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu this season, knocking them out of the Copa del Rey, so they do know what it's like to get a result here.

Amrabat has been excellent in this second half. The Moroccan was probably Leganes' best player in the first half as well, but he has pushed his team forward since the break.

That was unfortunate for Bale. The Welsh winger puts in the effor to chase back and make the challenge, helping out in the defensive side, but he gives away the freekick.

Of course, in the grand scheme of things this is a fairly meaningless match for Real Madrid. They are out of the Liga title race, but they'll want to keep their momentum going for the Champions Leaue.

Real Madrid are having to dig deep here. Leganes are the ones on top, with Theo this time getting the header clear under pressure from an opposition player at the back post.

The changes made on the hour mark by Zidane haven't really done much to change the flow of the game. Real Madrid have been second best in this second half. Leganes pressing.

ROOF OF THE NET! Incredible imagination from Beauvue! He spotted Casilla off his line from about 35 yards out, clipping a shot towards goal. The ball lands on the roof of the net.

Is there an equaliser left in this game for Leganes? If there's another goal to be seen you'd have to think that it will come from the team in green, on the way things are going.

Casemiro isn't the only Real Madrid defender who has looked rather dodgy at the back today. Theo has had an atrocious game. The young left back has struggled this season.

That was so close to a remarkable equaliser for Leganes. They have been the better team since the half time interval. Real Madrid certainly aren't making things easy for themselves.
