What a sensational match at the Santiago Bernabeu! It looked like Barcelona were going to close the gap at the top of La Liga, but Real Madrid showed fight to come back and claim all three points after going behind to Depor. Ramos is the hero once again!

How does Ramos do it? He's not especially tall, but he just finds an extra foot to leap higher than anyone else when there's a stoppage time cross to be attacked. Wow, wow, wow!

TYTON SAVE! Morata looped a header towards goal, with the Deportivo La Coruna keeper tipping it over the bar. But he looks to have hurt himself in doing so, crashing against the woodwork.

A whopping five minutes of stoppage time to be played at the end of the match.

SCUFFLES! The Deportivo La Coruna players believe Morata was too aggressive with his efforts to get on the end of a looping Ramos header to the back post. It's all getting a bit testy now.

All of a sudden Deportivo La Coruna are really under the cosh now. The introduction of both Lucas and Marcelo have made a real difference. Real Madrid are throwing eveything they've got at this now!

Time is running out for Real Madrid here. They need just a point to make sure that they will finish 2016 on top of La Liga. Their unbeaten run (34 games) is also at stake. A lot on the line.

Finally, Zidane throws on Marcelo. This change should have been made as soon as Deportivo La Coruna scored their second goal.

PENALTY CLAIM! That's a big decision for the referee to make. Babel goes down inside the area under the tackle of Pepe, who was stretching for a loose ball. No penalty, he says.

It's all Real Madrid now. They are camped in the opposition half. Even Ramos and Pepe are coming forward, helping out with the attack. But that means there are spaces at the back.

What a cross that was by James. He whipped the ball into the area with conviction, but Morata threw himself to the ground looking for a penalty rather than looking to attack the ball.

Surprising that Andone comes off for Deportivo. He's the one who was pressing Real Madrid high up the pitch.

I'm surprised that Zidane hasn't yet put on Marcelo. That might seem a little strange but the Brazilian is so effective as an attacking outlet. He creates chances and that's what Real need now.

Mariano is the latest Real Madrid player to call for a penalty kick. He believes that he was dragged back by Sidnei as the ball came into the area, but the referee once again shakes his head.

This is an interesting change from Zidane. Isco comes off and on comes Mariano to replace him.
