There's another double save from Kameni! First he saves from Kroos, then he follows up at the feet of Benzema, who was racing in to get on the end of the rebound. No such luck.

Kameni is the epitome of a big game player and he is already pulling off a number of saves to deny Real Madrid here. A second goal from Real Madrid would have been massive.

BRILLIANT SAVE! How did that stay out? Benzema's low cross found Ronaldo, who cut inside and hit a left footed strike towards goal, but Kameni pulled off an astounding stop to deny him.

It's worth keeping in mind that Barcelona are still losing at home to Eibar at the moment. If that result was to stay that way it wouldn't matter what happened in this game. Real would be champions.

The tempo has been sucked from this match. That will suit Real Madrid, but it's strange to watch such an important game played like this. Are Malaga already on their summer holidays?

Real Madrid need to be careful that they don't allow Malaga to have too many shots on goal. At the moment, the home side are enjoying some possession on the edge of the box.
28'
This has turned into a strange match since the opening goal. Real Madrid were in control, but there's a certain lethargy to the way they have played in the last 10/15 minutes.

Well over the bar! Ronaldo had his initial shot charged down, eventually playing the ball to Kroos on the edge of the box, but he blasts his effort well over the target. He was leading back.

Ramos heads over the bar after some good work from Modric down the right side of the pitch. The centre back has been a valuable source of goals for Real Madrid this season.

Marcelo is providing an outlet down the left side as he tends to do for Real Madrid. He's the one teasing the crosses into the penalty area. He's the one pegging Malaga back right now.
23'
Navas put his body on the line for the cause there, but there is still speculation that David De Gea will be signed from Manchester United to replace him at Real Madrid this summer.

Navas is going to need a minute here to get back to his feet. He clattered into the near post as he made the save from that Sandro freekick. That was an excellent save from the Costa Rican.

WHAT A SAVE! Sandro struck an exceptional freekick from about 25 yards towards goal, but Navas was equal to it, throwing himself across goal to make the save to keep Malaga out.

Barcelona are still trailing at home to Eibar. Alba just had a goal ruled out of offside, so the hosts are pressing hard for an equaliser. They need to win to stand any real chance of winning the title.
18'
Of course, Real Madrid still have a Champions League final against Juventus to look forward to. Barcelona still have the Copa del Rey final, so this isn't the end of the season for either of them.

For the first time in the match Real Madrid look a little flustered in their own half, but Varane does well to head clear a Keko cross into the box. The home side are making a go of it.
