Will that goal change the dynamic of this match? Will Granada continue to press high up the pitch and attack at every opportunity, or will they decide to go a little more conservative?

Benzema has been in great form of late, but he didn't really need to be in top-form to score that chance. All the work was done by Carvajal, who did so well to exploit the space.

YELLOW CARD: Ruben Perez (Granada)

That goal had been coming. Foulquier has been a bit of a liability for Granada in this match, caught out of position more than once, and he was nowhere to be seen at left-back for that goal.

The speed of Varane is quite incredible. Barral is regarded as one of the fastest players in La Liga, and yet the French centre-back just beat him in a flat race for the loose ball.

Ronaldo has been quiet so far. He had that shot across the face of goal about 10 minutes ago, but besides that he has been denied the chance to impose himself on this match.

Just as I write that, Granada find something from somewhere and are enjoying some pressure of their own. Ramos and Varane are being tested by the home side here.

There is a sense that in the last five minutes or so Real Madrid have started to take a grip of this contest. But Granada still have plenty of quality to make an impression in attack, too.

LOMBAN NEEDED TO MAKE THAT INTERCEPTION! Modric tried to pick out Benzema for the tap-in from close range, but Lomban spotted the danger and turned the ball behind.

When you see Ramos clutching his shoulder like that after a fall, you have to wonder whether he has been rushed back into action. This is what happened last time he got that injury.

This could be a problem for Real Madrid. Ramos climbs high to challenge Success for a header and lands awkwardly on his shoulder. That's the same shoulder he's had issues with this season.

Real Madrid just aren't making the most of their chances to create something in the final third. They have had the positions, but their final deliveries have been poor on the whole.

YELLOW CARD: Miguel Lopez (Granada)

SUCCESS CAN'T GET THE ANGLE RIGHT! After falling in the box Success chases down the loose ball and targets the far corner from a tight angle, but he shoots wide of the far post.

SHOULD THAT HAVE BEEN A SPOT KICK? Success goes down inside the area under the challenge of Ramos, but the forward gets back up to his feet instantly. Refreshing, really.

This has been a pretty decent start to the match by Granada. They are attacking just as much as Real Madrid, and what's more is that they look to carry a threat in the final third.
