Real Madrid got away with one here. They couldn't afford to drop points here, and in the end they haven't. But Granada gave it a real go and looked good to claim a point at least for much of the match. Zidane's side are now just four points behind Barcelona in the Liga table.

The changes made by Zidane haven't really altered much. They needed more control in the centre of the pitch, so it was strange that he then took off James for Jese after the goal.

CARVAJAL NEEDED TO MAKE THAT BLOCK! Success had the chance to shoot from inside the box, but the Real Madrid full-back was down quickly on the slide to block the effort.

This has been the worst performance I have seen from Ronaldo for quite some time. But of course, Zidane can't take him off. Of course he can't. No way. Never. Even if he's injured.

Zidane is looking very agitated on the touchline as he waves and gestures to his team. As things look at the moment, there is no real sign that Real Madrid are taking a grip of this.
