All of a sudden we have a game on our hands. Sevilla should have been about three or four ahead at the back but a bit of misfortune has seen them drawn level against Emery's side.

GOOOOAL! Barcelona 1 Sevilla 1 (47 mins - Jordi Alba). Out of nowhere Sevilla have drawn level! Pique is beaten too easily and a cross is knee'd into his own net by Alba. He knew nothing about it!

The second half is under way at the Camp Nou! Barcelona hold a 1-0 lead over Sevilla.

HALF TIME: Barcelona 1-0 Sevilla.

Cleared off the line by Carrico! Alba is left free down the left side and is found by Messi, but despite poking the ball through the keeper's legs the defender is on hand to clear the danger.

Barcelona have played more than double the passes Sevilla have in this first half. And you can tell in the flow of the contest. The away side have been restricted by Barca's possession game.

That was almost a bizarre onw goal! Suarez does really well on the turn and tries to play the pass into Messi, but the interception off the defender almost ends up in the Sevilla net.

Sevilla are starting to get a bit ratty with their challenges. This time Rakitic is pulled back cynically, but the referee refuses to show a yellow card to the offending player. Strange decision making.

Alves plays a pass down the line with the outside of the right foot, with Messi chasing it down to the byline. Carrico blatantly brings down the number 10 but the referee shakes his head. That was a clear foul.

At times Sevilla are leaving themselves with just one player in the centre of the pitch, which is peculiar against a team like Barcelona. Maybe they're counting on making the most of the space in attack.

Of course, Suarez is yet to score for Barcelona. He looks to be struggling to adapt to his new team, even if it is still early days for the former Liverpool striker.

Xavi's freekick from the left wing is looking for the run of Pique, who has come up from the back for the set piece, but Beto comes off his line to make the catch and stop the play.

That was magnificent play from Diogo to create a chance out of pretty much nothing, but Bacca was nowhere to be seen when the ball was played into the area. He would have had a tap in.

Diogo makes a great run and receives a one-two to take the ball to the byline, but his cross into a dangerous area is not anticipated by anyone in white and the chance is passed up.

Bacca holds up the ball on the halfway line, turns and plays a pass in behind Alba for Suarez, but the Sevilla forward is caught flat footed and the Barcelona full-back can sweep up.

Suarez is struggling to get involved with the game in the opening 30 minutes of the contest. He's drifting on the right side of the frontline but has been a peripheral figure so far.

Messi's freekick to the back post is cleared by Carrico and Sevilla come away on the counter attack. But Benega is stopped in his tracks by Busquets, who is quick to get a challenge in.

Neymar has very much been given a free role by Enrique in this Barcelona team. He is drifting all over the pitch and picking up the ball where-ever he can find it.

Sevilla look dangerous whenever they get the ball to Bacca, who is leading the line for them. But the issue is getting the ball to him, because Barcelona are dominating possession.
