Mandzukic's work rate has dropped off in the last 10 minutes or so. Unsurprising given that this game was won a long time ago, but you'd think that he'd want to finish up with the match ball.

The way Atletico Madrid equipped themselves in the opening half hour of the game was impressive, especially given the conditions that they found themselves playing in. But that's when they peaked.

Eibar have made themselves more compact in this second half, and are pressing Atletico Madrid when they have the ball. But they have struggled to create anything in the final third.

Mandzukic drops deep to collect the ball, spins and tries to slot through Jimenez, who is making a run in behind the Eibar defence. But the defence steps up to make an important interception.

Cani played well against Barcelona during the week. He was in impressive form for Villarreal before joiningt Atletico Madrid in the January transfer window, so can he carry that on?

Another change from Simeone, but it's not Mandzukic that comes off. Instead it's Koke, who ou could argue is just as important to the way Atletico Madrid play as the Croatian striker.

I think the pitch has eased off a little in this second half. It's playing a bit better, and the ball is moving slightly easier when it's passed along the ground. The game hasn't really improved though.

Another good chance for Mandzukc to grab his hat-trick! The Croatian found a yard of space at the back post from his marker Anibarro, but he can only find the keeper's gloves with his header.

Saul has the ball in the net, controlling the ball on his chest and finishing with an acrobatic overhead kick. But the flag is raised against the midfielder, and indeed he was a few yards offside.

This is an opportunity for Jimenez. The Mexican striker has failed to impress in his opening season at Atletico Madrid, with first team chances at a premium. He needs to make an impression.

There's another key player withdrawn by Simeone, surely with one eye on the game against Real Madrid next week. Griezmann was fantastic in the first half, but eased off along with the rest of his team.

This second half has been a lot about nothing. Atletico Madrid aren't pressing as hard as they were in the opening 45 minutes with the game already won. And Eibar aren't posin much of a threat.

Speaking of Mandzukic, I'm quite surprised that he has stayed on the pitch this long. He is Atletico Madrid's top scorer, and with this game won you wonder why he hasn't been taken off yet.
