This has been an excellent game so far. Celta Vigo seem to pick up their performance levels for games against bigger teams, and that's exactly what they have done so far tonight.

Neymar is cutting a frustrated figure at the moment. Barcelona's attack have had scraps to feed off, but the Brazilian has less of the ball than anyone else. He just can't get involved.

That was risky play from Bravo. He came so far off his line to make that challenge on Nolito, and although he made it it was a tackle that he didn't really need to make.

Loud penalty appeals from Celta Vigo are turned down! Bravo makes a challenge on Nolito after a break of the ball, but the referee says that the Barca keeper got the ball with the tackle.

This seems to be a conscious effort from Barcelona to gain some control of this match, knocking it about the backline as the home side take a bit of a breather for the time being.

Celta Vigo have been something of a bogey team for Barcelona this season, and that trend looks to be continuing this evening. The home side have given as good as they have got.

Nolito is causing Barcelona plenty of problems in his position on the left side of the front three. The away side are having to hold firm at the back, with Celta getting numbers forward.

Messi is dropping deeper and deeper in his efforts to find more of the ball. Suarez is playing as the centre forward, while Neymar has found himself somewhat isolated out on the left.

That's an opportunity for Suarez. The ball breaks to the striker after a bit of a scramble, but Suarez's effort - which was certainly powerful - can only find the gloves of the Celta Vigo keeper.

Celta Vigo have stepped off the gas in the last few minutes, as they take something of a break. But they still look very well organised, as Barcelona toil in their efforts to break them down.

This is very different to the Barcelona of old. They're crossing the ball into the box frequently, which would never have happened in the Pep Guardiola. Not necessarily a bad thing though.

Although much of that is down to the way Celta Vigo are playing. They haven't allowed Barcelona a moment to settle on the ball. But for how long can the hosts continue with this approach?

Barcelona are struggling to get going at the moment. They're playing with very little width and can't get any routine in their passing game. This hasn't been a great performance so far.

Messi plays Suarez into the channel, who has peeled away from his marker to find space. But he can't find Messi with the return pass into the box and the move breaks down for Barca.

Suarez looks for a foul on the edge of the Celta Vigo box, but the referee decides that the former Liverpool man was simply crowded out. That's pretty illustrative of how this game has gone so far.

Barcelona's passing game just isn't working at the moment. Celta are doing too good a job of closing them down and closing off their options. They are relying on individual brilliance!

Celta Vigo is a decent team in possession too. They are better than their league position suggests, and they always seem to raise their game for matches against Barcelona as well.

Barcelona turn defence into attack very quickly, with Messi going on something of a solo run. He fires off at goal, forcing Sergio into a good stop and Neymar sends the rebound wide of the target.

Messi has hardly had a touch of the ball yet. He's struggling to get involved in the game, as Celta Vigo send three players to close him down every yet he receives possession. Intense.
